Love this place. They play old movies on the TV s instead of sports. They have great and original food for a pub. Best veggie burger in town. Best burgers in town. Awesome Poutine. Service is always friendly and prompt. The only drawback is that it's not a secret, and is usually busy/thriving.

It's been our favourite restaurant in Edmonton for years now, it's a wonder I haven't left a review yet. The food is excellent (veggie burger is unreal and they have the best fries I've ever had), the beer and cocktails are always on point and the service is fantastic and friendly. We love this place.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time! I moved all the way to BC and I still think about how much I miss this play. From the awesome laid back staff, to the amazing food and drinks (try the gin fizz, it's amazing if you like gin), to the art on the walls, and the random movie playing in the corner. This place is awesome and authentic. If you want to have the best pub food ever and a great time, definitely go to the Next Act!

Next Act, almost always on point. Fantastic staff and service. I find myself ordering take out as the pub is too busy to get a seat. Huge beer selection and food is consistent. The veggie burger should be avoided. Really boring. The tofu sandwich changes often and is sometimes absolutely fantastic, other times it’s a miss. Veggie bean soup is great. Mac and cheese is a definite must eat. Atmosphere is hip and overall a good crowd. Seating is on the uncomfortable side and it tends to be a loud room. The spot in the pub is at the bar.

Great sandwich place. If your in the mood for something between bread this is your place. Great burgers, wraps and the house salad is killer! Gets busy and not great for large groups but the food is good and great options for vegans, vegetarians and food sensitivities. Almost all the sandwiches can be done with a gluten-free bun.
