First impression ... rap music hip hop from 2000's... served by non Spanish staff. Wine list is a hit. Tapas are fantastic give it a try! Clean. not overpriced . Easy to get a table.

As someone who just came back from a trip to Spain last month, I was craving some authentic tapas. Bodega was the first place that popped up in my area so I headed straight there. Interior was immaculately designed and the decor was superb. The food was fairly authentic but there were a couple things i would have liked to see added to the menu. Prices and portions were fair for all the tapas - I got a cheese and jam tapas as well as sautéed baby squid- great flavours. Service was a little weird but still friendly and prompt. My server was a young female and I think it just came down to her lacking some confidence and being a little nervous. Over all great food and excellent place to spend time

I was at La Bodega the last weekend and I ordered paella. It was truly the worst paella I have ever eaten in my whole life. I couldn't finished and the ingredients weren't balanced at all. I come from Spain and this paella wasn't paella, it was a different thing... I use to be ok with that but when the paella tastes more to saffron and bad quality paprika than rice and such it means that the paella doesn't have any balance of flavours. Please, don't add so much saffron and paprika! It tasted horrible. The place is very nice and cozy to go for drinks though.

This place is amazing. Good quality of food. Vancouver doesn't have many places serving just Spanish food. Glad we have Bodega. Surrounded by two other amazing places, it's easy to miss this.

Squid Ink paella is real inky and intense. Stick with the traditional paella it won't disappoint. The wait staff need to give a f*** even when it's near close. I will mos def return as I feel this restaurant has more to offer me then what my first visit produced and the menu looks good.
