Disaster all around. We had been a year ago and it was pretty good but not this time. Service in our section was terrible. Took 20 minutes to get drinks, another 20 to get food order taken. An hour and 15 minutes in, I chose to speak to server about situation (no water, no cutlery, no food-we only ordered chicken strips and 2 sanwiches) she was full of apologies and managed to bring water and cutlery. 15 minutes later she brought out the chicken strips for the kids. They tasted a little off and then we discovered the chicken was raw on the inside. My wife's food and mine had still not come out 10 minutes later so we chose to leave. To top it all off, my son got food poisoning and was sick through the night. Hopefully this is not the norm, but we won't be back.

Whether you live close by or taking a drive along hwy 19a...a stop in the Roy's Towne Pub is worth it...you will be greated by the friendliest staff by far, if you venture in to this fine establishment and have some tasty edibles then say Hi to the owners Charlie and Judi...they are always willing to greet new regulars with a smile!

I've never had a burger cooked medium before. It was so tasty! The meat is ground on site, and the fries seemed to be freshly cut, crisp, not overly oily/salted. Three of us ate the same menu item, and no one felt any digestive disturbance, as can be the case after a pub meal. Some options for gluten free folks...but not too many. I ordered my burger without the bun, and gave the onion rings that were on top to my mom. Great rotating beer selection. Small town pub appealing to various ages. Cosy, unpretentious and located next to a seaside trail for an after meal walk. Sunday night jam session is fun with every kind of music represented. Friendly helpful servers. Worth checking out.

Best Halibut and Chips. Tried a bunch of different places. Only place that does it right! Snitzel night, mmmmmm! Pretzel with beer cheese dip. Alot of favorites here. Owners are great too. They recently started offering breakfast. Hash was best I ever had and my son said his breakfast sandwich was very good as well 👏🏻

One of the best pubs in the Comic Valley. Lots of great music, phenomenal patio and good food.
