The Home Depot

Not a good experience with appliances order. I couldn't cancel an cook top one day prior delivery ( I was told that via support line), now I have to wait until the supplier will approve the return and keep an item (10-14 days). I have reported about return within 48 hours. Together with a cook top I had a dishwasher. Our plumber has noticed some damages inside after 4 days from delivery. Now it is not a warranty issue and Home depot refuses to replace an item because 48 hours have acceded. Please, check your delivered appliances very carefully when ordering through Home Depot.

I was out to buy a bug net for my window and was wondering what kind of ACUs they had for sale. Upon inquiring an associate, he told me the only one they had left was a returned merchandise and I would be really happy to buy it for a "HUGE" discount. They showed me the unit and it was really dirty and beat up, all parts were missing, but it was working. I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back to discuss pricing. The associate and I came to an agreement that we would do $200+tax. Another older associate butts in and says that they have all the parts in the back. Waited another 15 minutes for them to go fetch them. The older associate raises the price from $200 to $350...? I was baffled. I could not even believe that was a suggestion from a person who works in sales. I argued and then the original associate said 250$ bottom price for the unit and all of it's components. I agreed and had the unit wheeled to the cashier. Upon final inspection I realized the remote was missing. I approached the associate and complained that he tried to hide the fact that the remote was missing. This upset him and he told me "Why don't you just grab it and go?" Seriously? This associate is a crook, and extremely disrespectful. I would be glad to re-visit this location to get his name and bringing it up to the higher ups. He says "$240" I reluctantly accepted the price as honestly I didn't want to stay and argue any longer. 10 dollars off for a missing remote? Honestly, these associates should be redirected from customer service into shelf stocking for life. I'm certain I will not be going to be doing business with this store again.

I had a wonderful experience in the paint department from a lady helping me today. I think her name was Azam and she was very kind, took her time and picked out the best colours for my house. She even took me to the flooring department and showed me a few suggestions for our bathroom tiles. Thank you and I'll be back to see you!

I was buying home appliances for kitchen(dishwasher,refrigerator,stove,oven,microwaves,washer/dryer).only thing i was not sure was microwave if it was gonna fit or not..So i asked the girl who works in the appliances department. if it does not fit,can we refund it? She said NOT. not at all because they are custom made. How can the microwave can custom made. So we left and went the Bay store and bought everything from at the Bay. And everything fit well. We did No refund no exchange. I will not buy anything from home Depot again. While we have better service in other stores.

HOME DEPOT united blvd, coquitlam This location can be found on one end of united blvd near the casino. One can get there from either the mariner way end of united or the king edward/braid street end of united blvd...this store has plenty of parking, is spacious, well lit, and is amply staffed with many friendly clerks ready and willing to quickly direct one around the aisles to find what one needs in terms of building materials to fix all the big or little fiddle around jobs that crop up throughout one's home. In my case, it was picking up some plastic cable wire clips for installing xmas light strings to my fascias; finding rebar tie wire to fasten my tree to the living room wall; and last but most important, climbing up on the shelving to get the very last $9.99 3' high Tacoma pine artificial tree in stock in the store. My friend Anne, whose cozy condo needed a little xmas ambience,like everyone else at this time of year, didn't need a huge tree taking up a bunch of valuable real estate in the living room. The branches have to be folded down and the three legs fastened, but it looked fine when I was done. The alternative would have cost $25-70 more. I then headed 3 minutes away to the Dollarama by superstore maillardville to pick up some shiny xmas ornaments including balls, bells, berries, drums, frosties, tinsel, etc to decorate it with. Smaller inexpensive trees can look almost as good as $150 noble firs- it just depends on how much TLC one puts into it! PS there's a small White spot restaurant in the far corner of the parking lot. What's better than a legendary platter and a real chocolate shake BEFORE you start working around the house..?
