Lovely experience. Excellent service. Beautiful and unique drinks although pricey. The food was very good, but I wouldn’t suggest the kale Caesar salad, as it was too salty this is coming from a person who enjoys salt. Modern and artsy. We’ll be back :

Wow, wow, wow. Incredible, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients crafted into well-balanced, playful and beautiful dishes. Comfortable, intimate atmosphere. Well-trained, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Perhaps the strongest cocktail program in the city with simply transcendent cocktails crafted by a bar staff who can build layer upon layer if flavour.

Totally blown away by the prix fixe menu we had a couple weeks ago. From the cocktails to the dessert everything was simply incredible. Best part of the courses were they were all things I wouldn't have normally ordered for myself and I love each and every one of them.

The seafood pasta is outstanding!! I forgot to take a photo of the chicken sandwich and was so delicious, very crispy outside and soft inside. The atmosphere was so chill and I think the place is perfect for cozy dinner dining. The owner Segar and his partner both know the industry very well that's why their food was awesome. It's my first time visiting The hallway. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience The beautiful ceiling lighting gives me a rolls royce ceiling lights vibe and I LOVE IT.

Omg this place is so cute! I had the Crab Cake Benny. and it was divine! Highly recommended! I've eaten at this location many times, and every time is nothing less than perfection. It has one of the best stocked liquor walls of any of the lounges I've been to in the city... don't sleep on it!Food: 5/5

Hmm where do I start. Do I start with the poor quality beef tartare loaded with spices to hide the quality of the meat.. or the flash frozen fish they serve? The presentation of the food is beautiful but the quality and taste is quite average.. I’m sorry! I had high expectations and was quite disappointed. Also, please change your music playlist.. this isn’t Omnia in Vegas.. it felt like a cocktail lounge with intense music… not so much a dinner vibe. The service however was incredible, super nice server!

Out of this world. By far one of the best restaurants in Victoria for good food, drinks and dining experience. We had the sweetest server who was kind and attentive. I loved the ambiance and the fancy cocktails. You must order a Moon over Mexico and a Honey Badger. My favourite dishes were the beef and broccoli, grilled humboldt squid and confit chicken gnocchi. The fermented bread to start is a must. The evening was so great that we returned the following weekend to host a friend’s birthday with a large group which the restaurant kindly accommodated. I love that the owners are out on the floor participating in service and ensuring guests are well taken care of. I was also humbled by two young local owners bringing their creative vision to life during a hell-on-earth pandemic with absolutely no compromise on quality despite the restrictions. I can’t say enough about the Hallway from start to finish. I will definitely be back and recommending it to all my friends who appreciate good food and drinks.

We had a few tasty cocktails. The dill pickle fries were delicious. The duck with gnocchi and squash was very good. The lingcod with Bok Choy in broth was amazing. It was about a 1.75 hour experience and well worth the wait and price. Highly recommend.

If you haven’t been to the Hallway before, RUN don’t walk. I’m honestly mad at myself that I didn’t come in sooner. I love the concept of fine dining food in a fun and casual atmosphere without stiff and pretentious service. Our server was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We had the scallops and squid to start and they did not disappoint. They were cooked to perfection and the flavors blended harmoniously. The beef and broccoli was again cooked perfectly with the potato pave were just little slices of heaven. We finished the dinner with the matcha and rhubarb dessert, the cake was so spongy and light and was a great way to end our dinner. Every cocktail we had were also delicious and there was something on the drink list for everyone. Will definitely be back again!

We asked for taster of beer, got it and told our server that it’s very sour, then we ordered another beer as she mentioned that this beer is going to be less sour so got us 2 pints. But this beer was extremely sour, we told her this. She said ohh sorry but I think this is not that sour and it’s her favourite beer, even she got two kegs for her wedding. No offer was made to replace these beers or whatever. We couldn’t even drink those beers but we still got charged for both full pints. I don’t mind paying for mine as I drank half of mine but my wife just had a sip from pint. Never suggesting anyone to go there or we never going back so disappointed……
