I had a rare Monday off and we happened to be downtown so we popped in here for brunch. I'd heard good things and my expectations were exceeded. From the friendly attentive service, fresh coffee and timely refills, helpful menu recommendations. Everything sounded so good. We finally narrowed down our choices. My wife had the Fuego Benny and I went with the Fried Chicken and Cornbread French Toast with side of blueberry coulis. The flavours and textures and presentation are spot on. It was all just so good and we left happy and very full. Special thanks to our server Michelle for excellent service. Can't wait to come back!
Nice spot for breakfast. Little benches at the front of the building for when you’re lining up. The service was excellent, from suggestions on what to eat, keeping the coffee topped up and having hand sanitizers at the end of the meal. It’s busy especially on weekends but worth it.
Enjoyed breakfast at Fuego Old Town Eatery, fantastic service and beautifully spicy breakfast meal. Enjoyed the Fuego Benny with Cornbread. Very tasty with the house habanero sauce. We also had a fantastic view of the Johnson Street Bridge raising while enjoying our meal.
Maybe my new favorite breakfast restaurant in Victoria! Amazing food with perfect portions, extremely tasty and impeccable service. You won't be disappointed but prepare for a wait.
Super tasty brunch spot. Not sure why this place doesn't have a lineup around the block like other brunch restaurants in Victoria, but I am SO happy that it does not. Their chimichanga was soooo cheesy! There were multiple cheese-pull videos. I loved the cornbread french toast. It had just a little bit of heat. I'm definitely coming here again.
You’d never expect to find authentic Mexican flavors in Victoria yet we ventured and were not disappointed. Service was great and the food was even better. They also have a great vegan option section with several dishes. Definitely recommended!!
The food here is seriously amazing. We came for breakfast and I had the fuego Benny that comes on cornbread. The cornbread was so buttery and delicious. We also used their Fuego habanero hot sauce that had a great kick to it. 10/10 with great food and service.
Great place. The food was excellent. They have a really cool courtyard in the back. The food was very filling and tasty. The breakfast burrito was amazing. The staff seemed a bit annoyed and short with us. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.
Delicious brunch alert! Tasty bottomless coffee. Gorgeous space with vaulted ceilings. Fun music. Killer food. We loved the "benny and the cakes" option that let's you pick a mix of any benny and any speciality pancake. The el porco benny stood out for me but honestly every part of our meals was delicious.
Amazing food. I got the chiliqueles which pulled pork. Sooo good. Had to try the cornbread which was fantastic. Great overall dining experience. I'm coming back for the chimichangaFood: 5/5
