West Coast Waffles

My husband, son and I, ate at WestCoast Waffles and were delighted with the waffles. Hubby ordered The Canadian, and was pleased that it wasn't too sweet, it had generous portions of fresh strawberries and real whipped cream and the hint of cinnamon and real maple syrup were the perfect match. I had a 'pick your own combination' of bananas, fresh blueberries, generous helpings of real whipped cream and real maple syrup and it was delicious. My son had a sweet choice of the Oreo Waffle, complete with crumbled Oreo cookies, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The waffles were made fresh to order and were light and not too sweet and the servings of toppings were fresh and generous. The service was also friendly, and efficient. We stopped for a quick bite at this little restaurant and couldn't stop raving about how fresh and tasty it was. Next time, I will go for one of the savoury options. Overall, a great option for breakfast, lunch or tea time in downtown Victoria.

First time visit. Tried the vegetarian options as it was closer to lunch time. The "Mexican waffle" was great and will highly recommend it. Try it with scrambled eggs. The vegetarian was decent, but not much too rave about.

Fantastic waffles for a late night treat. The place could be cleaned and fixed up a bit, but let's be honest you're not there for the atmosphere.Food: 5/5

Waffles were pretty good and I enjoyed the raspberry blackberry smoothie I got, but it was over 45 minutes from when we walked in the door to when we got our food. All due respect to the person who served us, but I don't think one staff member alone is enough to run this place. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options

The waffles themselves were really really good! The service was so-so… actually to be more specific, the service was a little abrasive. It’s just waffles, let’s chill out a little. Also, the table was sticky and I didn’t like to touch it. It looked wiped, but like it was just smeared around.

West Coast Waffles is an inexpensive stop for breakfast. The music is nothing too loud and there is a good selection on the menu. It could be cleaner but the price is right. Serving staff are friendly and helpful. The washroom is moderately accessible.

I had such a lovely visit to West Coast Waffles. The waffle that the lovely staff member, I believe her name was Vesper.., was so delicious! The first one is a sunrise waffle which has chorizo sauce on it. Very delicious and filling for breakfast. And the second one was a banana waffle which was just perfect for dessert! Will visit again!

The place itself feels a bit grungy, but if you have dietary restrictions and are craving waffles, this is the place to go. Barely could tell my waffle was gluten and dairy free. Love their coconut milk whipped cream!
