The Brick

Purchased a coffee table with a glass top from this location. On arrival the glass top had broken corners and had been taped. The retailer was notified of the broken item be phone and I was informed they would order a new replacement. After some time they were contacted again, I was told they had never placed the order. They apologized and told us the replacement was on backorder. It has been about 3 weeks and the item will not be in for another week. A night table that was purchased also has a crooked drawer, and the bed frame had pieces of chipped wood and dents. Update: Turns out after 4 visits to the store to resolve the issue, they did not have or could not locate a record of the broken top being returned and could not release the item.

I ordered a mattress online. Everything went through fine; get to the delivery date. Mattress doesn't show up. No phone call from these people, no email, nothing. I called the night of the delivery until the store closed. No answer. The next morning, I start calling the store right at opening. I called for half-an-hour, letting the phone ring until it hung up on me, and finally someone answers. They tell me there was a part missing, and that it would be delivered the following week. I have taken two days off of work for this. The delay would have been fine, if they had contacted me. Asked for a full refund. My first time ordering something this big, and from this place, and I never will again. The only good thing about my experience with The Brick were the two girls I spoke to on the phone.

As long as your not in a hurry then your good to go. They said they will deliver in morning but didn't show up till late after. Is ok had nothing else to do. That was on top of a floating delivery date. I wouldn't of minded being late if they had of at least told me so.

I went to the store in Whitby looking for a bar/wine fridge for a Christmas gift for a loved one. I entered the store and noticed 3 sales reps sitting on a couch gabbing. Not one said hello as I walked by. I went to the back of the store to the appliance section to start looking for a fridge. I literally walked through the entire appliance section. I found 4 bar fridges and one of which could have possibly been used to break a few bottles of wine. The models they carried in the store were made by Danby. Such a cheap model the shelves didn't look like they would hold a bottle let alone 4 or five. Did I mention I didn't see a sales rep. Still So I figured I would go looking for a rep to verify that I had seen all they had to offer. I walked over to the TV section (which is located right beside the appliance section) figuring maybe I would find either a rep or maybe even a Christmas present for myself. ( one can always use a bigger TV) I walked through this entire section as well. I couldn't locate anyone to talk to. So I walked back the same way I entered. Right past the 3 gabby reps still sitting on the couch and once again they ignored me as I walked past. I have to say unless I am dragged back here by someone. I am not willing to spend anymore time or money here at this location.

I needed a couch quickly, and luckily they had a nice one available for immediate delivery. I love the quality of this couch- nice material, elegant, and the delivery went smoothly with a call 1 hour before.
