Unlike big box stores, we sell products that are more specialized such as Amateur transceivers, shortwave radios, Marine radios, GPS and a lot more. We also repair CB radios and we make custom RF cables for WiFi and wireless internet access.

I ordered the CC Skywave portable radio and , what I assumed, the AC adapter. I did this through the Durham Radio Sales and Service Web Site. A couple of hours, or so, later, I received a phone call from one of Durham's reps who asked if I wanted the AC adapter that goes with the radio. Apparently I chose the wrong adapter and replied of course I wanted the correct adapter. He replied he'll make the necessary corrections and will ship the proper adapter. MOST places would have shipped the item I had chosen. The people of Durham were actually able to go over my order and spot the error of my choice AND contacted me. This shows that Durham is both KNOWLEDGEABLE of their products and RESPONSIBLE towards their customers. On top of this great service, I got my radio the very next day - with the correct adapter. 110 % SATISFIED.

Couldn’t ask for a more helpful crew of people when it comes to questions about products and ordering equipment. Great selection of items and the best prices around!! Just wish I lived closer so I could stop in from time to time.

Excellent service. They will go out of their way to help out clients, even in the crunch time, right before holidays. Staff is knowledgeable and will respond fast to email inquiries. I have no HAM radio shops near my location... Durham Radio is my goto solution.

I have done a great deal of business with Durham Radio, and ordered everything from tools and connectors, to coax and radios. They have always been helpful and knowledgeable, and have given a lot of good advice when asked. More than anyone else (outside of my radio club) they helped launch my journey into the world of Amateur radio. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of radio tool or equipment. I needed a part for a hi-fi tuner that only Durham supplies in Canada. I had never heard of them but the price was good so I ordered. Communication was first rate, shipping time and packing excellent and the part works better than anything I have used so far. I will think of them first if I need service on my system from now on.
