Telegraph Cove Marina & RV Park

About

Lodging, marina, RV park, and land development

Story

We are the destination for your Telegraph Cove lodging, marina, real estate, and RV park needs.

Welcome to Telegraph Cove, nestled at the northern end of Johnstone Strait on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. The Broughton Archipelago, a stunning cluster of inlets forming a protected marina park, is our neighbour, as are the famed Orca rubbing beaches of Robson Bight and the 64,000 km2 Great Bear Rainforest.

This calm, protected refuge - Telegraph Cove - was home to a lumber mill and salmon cannery in the early 1900's. Today Telegraph Cove has gradually yielded to pleasure boaters, kayakers, sport fishermen, whale watchers and vacationers. "Telegraph Cove: One of the ten best wonders in all of Canada."

Telegraph Cove is a premier, unique destination for those seeking a pristine waterfront environment. Saltwater and freshwater fishing; kayak rental; whale watching and excursions; grizzly bear, cultural and forestry tours; outer island passenger ferry; bird watching; diving; caving; hiking; and boating, all yours to experience.

The accommodations are rustic but meet all needs. Don't come here expecting a 5 star hotel experience and you won't be disappointed. You can book guided fishing excursions, kayaking trips and whale watching. There are trails to explore as well. The staff is helpful and courteous and the bakery/cafe is excellent. The owners of the resort are gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

Telegraph Cove is an amazing spot to visit if you really want to see nature at its finest. There is a small motel located near by and a couple of spots to grab a bite to eat. It is full of tourists as there are a variety of activities going on such as kayaking trips and whale watching. All the people that I interacted with are friendly. I'd say items to buy are a little bit more expensive then you would see in a more populated area. The air is clean and it appears that they are trying to keep the surrounding area has natural as possible. Beautiful spot and definitely recommend it to anyone whose traveling through British Columbia.

Cute spot to go and visit. We didn't stay there but we did have a great lunch at the restaurant. Very quaint and worth a look-see anyway.
