Great branch. Thought I was gonna have to spend 2 hrs on Sunday driving to and from the branch where my mortgage was landed. Stopped in at the end of my lunch break to see if they could set an appointment downtown to renew. Instead, they had me renewed in 10 minutes. No hassle and a very competitive rate.
Update: got a home equity line of credit too, and the process was super smooth, and they respected my time. That's all I ever really want. Thanks Tommy.

Already happened a few times where on the website mentioned opening hours and when I went there, this branch was closed... Bank should truly value customer's time not just their assets.

8 days with my card blocked for no reason.
I called the assistance in a first moment and the assistance told me to go to the bank.
When I arrived to the bank, the employer told me to call the assistance because he was not in charge and he didn't have the control of my card.
I called the assistance again and he told me to go to the bank another time. In the bank the employer replaced my card with another brand new, but the result has not changed… the card is still blocked.
I came back to the bank and they told me to call the assistance again.
I called again (for the third time) the assistance and the assistance told me to go to the bank.
After one week my card was unlocked.
I lost 12 hours of work in 5 day for this problem, I wasn't able to use my account in the past 7 days and I am still not able, and I don’t know why they blocked my card with no reason.
I request refund for all the time I lost and for the service I did not have in a week.
the answer... 5$ card for starbucks.
The assistance in this bank is very very bad

Had a complaint about the service received in this branch and through the telephone customer service line. (staff member on phone didn't know his facts and in-branch staff person gave me the wrong information). Supervisor in bank called and said she'd look into it and would call me back early the following week. She didn't bother to call back again.
I elevated the complaint TWICE after that, using the online complaint form.
Finally the branch manager wrote to me offering to discuss the problem after I threatened to take the matter to head office. I replied asking for him to address my original complaint in writing. He didn't bother to write back either.
I informed them that I would look to take my business elsewhere and would raise the matter to head office. The bank manager then wrote a short email saying he was away. Terrible service. I'm sure some staff are good but this experience was a complete joke from start to finish, and perhaps I just had the misfortune of dealing with 4 consecutive staff members that didn't care about the concept of customer service.
Based on my experience, I would never bank with TD again. Again, maybe it's just the branch I dealt with, but this has not left TD is a positive light at all.

Incompetence each and every time. This bank as well as the banking system in this country are a joke. While in Europe it takes 2 seconds to transfer large sums of money between banks, the check deposited from a corporate account into my personal account (same branch!) gets HELD... 5 business days despite sufficient funds in the debited account and the fact that those funds left the account at midnight of the same day. Why would TD hold those funds for another week? Who benefits from this? Is it a SCAM improving bank's liquidity? While this policy comes from the top, there is nothing to justify the untrained, underachieving front staff who cause frustration after frustration. Why are banking standards so low in Canada? Is it because we allow them to be and don't complain?
