Asian is harsh on other asian is real! My mom has been coming to this location for years and they have been very helpful. I came here a couple of times and havent noticed any negativities. I have seen and been thru worse.
The arrogant and impatient attitude of the senior front desk lady makes me feel unwelcome almost every time I visit this TD branch. Unfortunately, I had to put up with her attitude again yesterday. I went there hoping to sort out some wire transfer issue. She didn't seem to care much about my concern, just hoping to send me off with a quick and wrong! answer. She literally turned her back on me while talking to me! Her junior colleague was trying to help out, but obviously she is under trained and didn't know the answer. But, at least she was friendly and helpful. At the end, I had to go to another TD branch for an answer. The front desk staff there welcomed me with a big smile and answered my question at once! What a huge difference!!! The TD Bank at Golden Square should be ashamed of their poor customer service!
The worst branch, Clifford Leung twice gave me misinformation and refused to help me. After 17 years and a new mortgage of 2 months, I closed all accounts with TD. The customer service, language barriers, refusal to help and wrong information lead to complete distrust. Atop that finding out that 2 hours later the account I waited to close was still not since TD called me to verify account details. This branch literally caused me to cancel 17 year accounts. I am literally disgusted, disappointed and am happily no longer a TD customer.
I had the worst experience at this branch today. The teller her name is Kim was not helpful at all even though she saw I was getting upset when she told me she couldn't do the transaction for me, she seemed to enjoy it and she didn't ask for help. I told her I didn't appreciate her giving me a hard time and that I will be closing my account, she replied with "just bring two forms of ID", didn't even care. I was serious and very upset after dealing with her for about 15 mins, so on my way out I asked the lady at the customer service area I wanted to make an appointment to close my accounts, she asked me why and then proceeded to help me and quickly allowed me to make my transaction that the teller wouldn't do!! I still left upset at the whole situation that could have been avoided if she would have asked. Never going to this branch again though.
Today I am doing business consulting in td bank. I am a user of a five-year loyal td bank. I conducted business enquiries and withdrawals at 2:50. This woman is called Linh Luong. I have to complain to her. I have never seen an associate with such a bad service attitude in the past five years. Her attitude towards me seems to be calling me away. I have to complain to her! I hope your company can respond to me. In the past two months, I have lost many transfer fees on my saving account innocently. I went to this branch for consultation in 1868 today. It's the same staff again, her name is Linh Luong. She first dismissed her neglect. This is the second time. I don't know what prejudice she has against me. Every time she treated me extremely badly. She said that I personally have the right to remember the characteristics of my account. However, it has been six months since I switched to such an account. I think she should be reminded before this operation to charge me. But she didn't. So I think this is her failure. And when she answered my question today, she was so eager to answer. Not even willing to print a statement for me. Also have to explain to the staff next door. May I ask if this is the attitude of your staff? I have never seen other TD bank worker with ridiculous attitude like Linh Luong !!! I do need your explanation!!!
Really bad customer service experience. But not from employees, but the manager..! The other day I went there asking for help to solve a problem with one of my accounts that I closed months earlier. The manager did not respond with the same enthusiastic attitude of the advisors for taking care of me. He simply refused in bad manner to help me, adducing bank policies. I had to go to another branch where my problem was solved quickly. Managers has to be role model for employees. This is not the first time that this individual react with arrogant and unhelpful behaviour
Has to be the worst TD bank I have ever been to. The lady working tonight looked to be an intern was super rude/unprofessional near the end of the interaction and did not offer any help at all. The other reviews here are right and try not to come here at all other than if you want to use the ATM or for simple transactions. This place also reeks of corruption and staff that gets hired by bribery.
Branch policy seems to be discriminatory. Never had a problem at any other TD Canada Trust branch asking and getting an English and Chinese calendar. However at this branch I was told I could only have one or the other. When I asked for both, I was told I could only have one and advised to go an "English" branch. In context this branch is located in a strip plaza with lots of asian stores. I had to speak to the branch manager "C.K" before getting both. I told him this was a terrible branch policy that he is enforcing. If there is not enough supply of calendars then order more rather that have this policy. This busy branch can certainly afford this minor expense.
I don't even know if TD Canada Trust cares about looking at these reviews but i'm still going to write it so all the other customers can see. Today, all i wanted to do is to pay for my tuition using the student loan money that i received in my checking account. The amount is definitely not a small amount so i expected that i'll need to provide some Government Issued IDs. I gave them at least 3 of the Part A ID list that they have but this teller... still refused to do a simple transaction for me. I have done the exact same transaction many years in different branches and have no problem with it. I don't know if it's the teller's problem or the whole branch's problem. I don't recommend this branch. Just walk to the other branch which is about 15-20 mins away. They have way better service.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/DOES NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION - PLEASE be aware and observant of what these consultants are doing with YOUR money! TLDR: Consultant/Financial Advisor? Sandy was messing with my parent's bank account and moving money to some different savings account and finally mentioned they won't be able to withdraw from it. Did not even listen or consider their opinion. Had to get a manager involved. She also assumed my parents were "uneducated" about banking. -------- My parents went here a week ago in regards to a GIC/RRSP account. The person taking care of them is named Sandy. I would highly recommend CANCELLING your appointment with her. She belittled my parents by asking, "Do you not know anything about banking?" She never listened to what they actually needed and proceeded to do her OWN thing with an account that WAS NOT hers. My mother also noticed that Sandy had moved some money from their savings account into a different one without asking first, and proceeded to tell them that they won't be able to withdraw from this account in a year again, mom didn't want this!! They had to get the manager involved to undo these changes. I also opened up a mutual funds account with them a few years back and had to cancel it after losing too much money. I was a high school student at the time and a consultant was encouraging me to open it as I would "gain" more than just having my money sit in my savings account. Never again. We will be switching our branch to another location where consultants may actually listen to us.
