RBC Royal Bank

i like the brand new clean look of this branch. i expect line up at any banks. you go to TD and other FI, there are even longer line ups. people forget that there's a reason why customers goes to the bank to discuss financial matters and it may take longer than usual. If i see my banker, i want to discuss financial matters and i want my money protected. if it takes longer, i dont mind because my money is important. It's not a fast food restaurant, it's a bank. This branch even if they have line ups, it goes faster than other branches. It is a downtown branch expect it to be busy. If people wants fast efficient service, go to online banking or ATM or visit a branch in the boonies.

I was served today, Friday, 27 October 2017 at around 1:30 pm by a teller who was very nice and friendly to the older gentleman ahead of me who was wearing a suit, then quite impatient and snippy towards me because I was more humbly dressed (Mexican hoody and jeans). She would be in her thirties, on the fat side, short with straight auburn hair. I think it's both unprofessional and just downright meanspirited treating people with this kind of discrimination just because of the way they're dressed. I was polite to her, despite her less than polite treatment of me.

2 tells at 5:30pm when there is a lineup out the door? Not the first time this has happened. How about scheduling more staff. I shouldn't have to wait in line for a half hour.
