RBC Royal Bank

My worst experience in my life dealing with the mortgage department. I blame mostly their system which is an absolute distrust, disrespect and torture towards their customers. It is more than 3 weeks and they are still evaluating my file and every time they delay it for a few more days for example to find out if my car lease payment for less than $130 per month is monthly or semi-monthly. I have already canceled my purchase agreement.

Terrible experience banking with this particular bank. A financial advisor stated that a transfer would take less than a month to process. It has now been close to 5. After filling out the required paperwork at another bank for the transfer, this advisor filled out the forms on the RBC forms incorrectly and then the cheque was sent to an address that I am no longer at and I am unable to get in contact with the tenants. A process that should have taken a month at most has now taken almost half a year. It is very surprising that this advisor still has a position at this company. Should definitely reconsider banking here.

This location and the one on Broadway are my two favourites. Even though both are always busy, every employee I've interacted with has been pleasant and accommodating. It's refreshing. :)

My first bank in Canada. A quite big branch of Royal Bank of Canada. This Downtown branch is in the middle of the financial and corporate center of the Vancouver. Have couple of ATMs at the entrance for fast money withdrawal.

Was well received and they they made everything really easy to setup my first bank account in Canada.
