Taste was good except the noodles is not the actual authenticity. Server is polite and nice. Good place to eat.
Not a bad place for some spicy noodles on a chilly weather, soup, noodle and topping on the noodles are pretty tasty, if you want something really spicy get the “ harder then hell” spicy level as it isn’t that spicy at first but the after it kicks in really well, great and flavourful. Will recommend.Recommended dishesShredded Potatoes
When I walked in the girl looked at me strange and rudly asked yes can I help without know the chinese girl she was talking to was my wife, then her tone changed. The soup tasted like water til you mixed it with everything then it was not bad. It was not china like I know. Guilin noodles in china are amazing.
5.5/10. Very few options and taste ok. Noodles portion is good and items came with the noodle portion is less than other noodles place. Resturants is clean and comfortable. Services is ok but servers are not attentive. I most likely will not return unless my friends want to go.
The lady was friendly. The place is clean. Good food. Affordable price. I'll definitely come back. A little note about a previous review. You will never find pieces of river snails in a proper Luosifen. With authentic Luosifen, the river snails are cooked down until it's all mushy and dissolved, with the shells at the bottom of the stockpot. Just because you don't see pieces of snails, doesn't mean it's made with powder. I ordered the Luosifen River Snail Rice Noodle, small size, with watercress, regular heat. They offer 5 levels of heat. Regular heat might be too spicy for most. I was pleasantly surprised by all the fried tofu chips. I received my order within 3 minutes. Authentic taste. Luosifen is famous for being stinky, the smell comes from the sour bamboo. You may ask one without bamboo if you don't like the smell. You can also add additional toppings of your choice such as eggs or roast pork.
We went for a late lunch Saturday afternoon. We ordered Guilin Rice Noodles . It tastes much better than expected given that Google rating almost scared me away. Hot soup, rice noodle texture is fine. It's more authentic than almost all other Chinese restaurants in GTA that offered so-called the same dish though it tastes a bit more like Luosifen than the Guilin noodles that I had in China. Restaurant was half full at that time. Service was good. The only complaint is the peanuts and roast pork skin could be more crispy. :
Ordered Nanning noodles, not bad at all. The restaurant is clean and neat.
Oct 2018 It is 3rd one of my favorite noodle restaurant in GTA. I love their menu which is made by bamboo. The noodle soup is simple but rich. Mar 2019 The short hair female server was very helpful and considerate! I love their noodle soup with duck feet, super delicious!
The food is amazing and fairly authentic. Employees are nice and informative. Strongly recommend if you want to get a taste of Guangxi.
I liked it. I'm a small eater so when I chose the small size of the Guilin noodles, it was actually the perfect size for me. I can understand if someone might think it's not enough though. It was served with what I believe is pork bone broth on the side and the waitress told me that I can choose to pour it into the noodles or choose to eat the noodles separately. You can choose what kind of protein you'd like with this one as well. I liked it and I'll go again when I want a quick bite.
