Tadka Express

Had a chance go stop by Tadka Express and I'm glad I did! Great new addition to the neighborhood. Large portions. Friendly staff. Fresh flavourful ingredients. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. I tried their Butter chicken and lamb lunch specials. Can't wait to go back to try more.

Amazing food! I’m so happy to have a restaurant near me that serves authentic desi food. The flavours remind me of home. Also, they have amazing staff, always so kind and helpful. Really makes you want to come back. When they first opened up I asked if they could please let me know when they would receive their halal certification & they sent me a nice text saying that they’ve received it. Also, I once made a mistake and called their other location for a pickup order and when I came to the Lansdowne location, the employee said no problem & took my order without any fuss. They have great customer service & food. 10/10 would recommend!

Tried the chicken and goat biryani and both were superb. I generally drive all the way to North York to get authentic biryani so I'm super excited to have this spot in the neighbourhood! It's the real deal and best of all not greasy at all. Can't wait to try other dishes.

Picked up the Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Makhani and some rice and Naan and it was delicious. Great spice and flavour in all of the dishes, really good portions, real naan. This will definitely go in the rotation - one of the better Indian places in the city, really unassuming.

I went first time today to get samosa chaat but my debit was not working for some reasons. I had $1 less in cash but the guy politely accepted to give me order with less money. And when i tasted the chaat it was very very yummy. I would come here a lot and recommend indian food lovers to visit them. The prices are really decent

I order food from this restaurant twice or thrice a week… the food quality is always amazing. I work in nearby restaurant n I’m vegetarian, so i have to eat from here.All The cashiers are amazing. Usually Mohammad takes my order n he provides great customer service. Gud work!!

I thought this place was great! It doesn’t have many reviews but it’s a second location of a place in Etobicoke same owners and their other location has a ton of reviews. We got the app sampler, naan, and the butter chicken. I thought it was great, more than enough food for 2 people. Of the apps I thought the veggie momos were best. The butter chicken sauce was delicious. They loaded up our container and we made fries the next day and used up the leftover sauce. Highly recommend the butter chicken sauce with fries.

Perfect Friday night meal and great for sharing! I can definitely recommend the samosa chat and the saga paneer and basmati rice. So good, and good portions. They also have single portions with their combos. Good value for money and fresh! My new go to!

While the taste was amazing, I do not believe it is right to pay 17$ for a lamb tikka that is only 3 tendon-filled pieces of meat and a few nearly raw peppers, least of all when it is advertised as Lamb tikka, not onions+soupy sauce. Extremely disappointed- despite the sauce being so lovely in flavour. there was nothing of sustenance to the meal for it to actually justify pretty much any part of it. Add to it that the cashier looked at me expectantly instead of handing change back I was going to give a tip after getting my change, but that attitude ruined it and the awkward expectant silence/stare prompted me to just say 'keep the change' just so i could be able to leave with my food, it wasn't the greatest experience. Maybe their other dishes are more worth the price/have quality meat to them? Worth a shot, their sauce was great tasting. I just wont be buying anything else myself, as it is not worth the risk. That, and the other three reviews are what seems to maybe be fake reviews put out to bolster the company all the same day, similar wording style, all 5 stars, so that's already a stinky practice.

Really happy to have Tadka in the neighbourhood! We've been twice since it's opened, the highlights have been the lamb madras and chicken korma. Also enjoyed the tandoori momos. Looking for returning again soon!
