Super 8 Grande Prairie

Rooms were great and comfortable ,had a great gym and pool with slide ,and breakfast .. heads up on the $500 dollar deposit so no surprises little excessive if you ask me but whatever. My biggest problem is kids stay here as well and the staff allows people to drink in the lobby and stairways. Leaving half full calls beers in lobby and empties in the stairways .unacceptable in my opinion.then needed a replacement card and when gave my room key tried it didn't work told the lady and she said I gave the wrong room number .I know for a fact I had it right..had to add to me review to respond to this managers response. Again trying to put blame on others look at your camera before you say that there's no drinking because if you did you job as a manager you would look and confirm instead of implying it wasn't true .sounds like a scummy manager

There is a very obvious positive culture evident amongst the staff at Super 8 Grande Prairie . I cannot speak highly enough of the attention to detail that every staff member is displaying at this location. Constantly cleaning and keeping the entire premises immaculate and healthy. A very honest breakfast bar that is a sweet bonus to your accomodation.nWe upgraded from a King Bed room to a Kitchen Suite which was a superb room, full size fridge, kitchen sink and dishwasher. Lounge suite and plenty of room. The Kitchen Suite was definitely a great value upgrade. We also were invited to a dinner supplied by the staff. Very generous gesture that I have never experienced before.nI would have no hesitation recommending Super 8 Grande Prairie and I will definitely be staying there next time I am in GP.nMuch Respect to Lourdes and her team, you can be very proud of your work culture that you have created.

I have stayed there a two days ago!nI liked everything except the reception customer service! One of the front desk representatives said I will receive my portfolio on email, and After waiting a whole day I called them again and waiting to get that portfolio, again got ridiculous answers on call from representative.nnI would definitely say the front staff is so weird there!

Pretty disappointed with our staynHot tub was shown in pictures. There is no hot tub, but pool was decently warm.nOur queen bed was 100% a double and comfort was not therenSaid they served full breakfast and it's only some breakfast itemsnI have never stayed in a hotel with the least amount of sounds proof rooms. We could hear our neighbours and the people upstairs literally just walking not blaming the people in the rooms can hear every single door above us closenI'm seriously not one to complain but this was super disappointing and not advertised properly.nLook at Google before fully looking at trip advisor or Expedia

Came here for a sports weekend so booked in a block. This hotel is absolutely not worth $152 a night! I would have been perfectly happy paying $80 but not $152! Our “queen” beds were double beds at best, the breakfast was pretty bad so we went somewhere else, the shower didn’t drain once we figured out how to use it so we showered in each others filth. The rooms are dirty and old and you could hear people showering from 3 rooms over. We paid the same price at the Delta by Marriott which was amazing! How they can get away with charging people this price is beyond me! I would love half my money back. Stay anywhere else if you can unless they adjust their pricing to reflect how seedy this hotel is.
