Its very run down and old. When you shower it smells of mold. Very dirty and full of partying ALL night. The guy at the desk was amazing and kind. He gave me 40 back for all the loud partying above us and not being able to sleep. Spend the extra money and go to the Sandman! Pool, hot tub and work out!

Full of crack heads and homeless. Most of the windows where broken and the whole night we were scared people would break into our vehicles because you could hear people running and screaming back and forth. NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES! I would give it zero stars if I could

It's shelter. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cheapest in GP and the only place that will accept you "undocumented", so if you've lost your ID you have no other choices. However I've seen a few children come in with families during my stay here, and maybe they were in a bind with NO WHERE else to stay, [it is the holidays after all] but I highly advise against bringing anyone here under the age of 15. Please also talk to your kids about what to expect here (read previous reviews). It really bothered me to hear children's voices running through the "halls" here, because it's always usually girls screaming for attention or guys yelling in anger, doors slamming or police sirens. My room was clean and there is surprisingly a housekeeping service for the rate being so cheap. There is local phone, free WiFi and cable as well. Microwave and mini fridge also in room.

It's Not Bad At Least If U Don't Have Alot Of Money It's A Roof Over Your Head And At Least There's Tv Wifi And A Bed And There Nice And Work With U If U Don't Have Full Amount Right Then

Perhaps the worst dive in town, yet the cheapest place in Grand Prairie, this is a really "you get what you pay for" type place but will get you by if you are in a bind. Other long twem residents include prostitutes, pimps, thrives/criminals and drug dealers. Expect daily visits from Medics, RCMP, And random door knocks from random strangers and even the good folks from the local needle exchange. Stayed here for many months straight over the years because they let my dog stay for a very small one time fee and I never had any issues with the local riff raff. Be thick skinned, have knowledge of criminal elements and keep to yourself is my advice if you plan on stopping in at Parkside!
