I've been working out here for 3 months and I really like the location and the environment. Staff is great! They always help when you need something. The only thing that I don't like is that they only have one free squat spot and no dead lift platform. Other than that there's a lot of machines. The trainer Melissa is amazing, and Victor the manager make the money invested worth it!

After dealing with gyms my whole life I was expecting the worst when things went sideways with SN... BUT Quick recap: I signed up during summer and was promised an amazing deal. Flash fwd to now and “there's no record of that deal promised and the people who set it up aren't here any longer...” WHAT?! We've all been here before right? Get it in writing always right? So rather than the usual denials and obstructions that most companies do, both the Sales Manager (Victor) and the new Operations Manager (Julia) went to work on making it right. It took a bit of time but they came through. This location is set up well. It has staff that care and it shows in the way they stepped up and took things through to the end. I can't say enough good things about the way they resolved my matter. And quite frankly who wants to work out in an environment with bad energy anyhow? Consider giving this location a shot, the staff make it a worth while place to spend your hard earned money. People are great, vibe is awesome and the equipment is top notch.

Group Fitness room issues - It’s a great clean gym with nice staff and good equipment, however, with so many new members and new trainers, it’s getting a bit ridiculous regarding the group fitness room and lack of courtesy that has developed. Participants are arriving half way through class, which is not only disrespectful to the teacher, but more importantly, they are, missing the warm-up and causing not only danger to their own bodies, but dangerous distractions to the other group fitness participants, who could in turn injure themselves by the interruption. No matter how unintrusive these people think they are being, it never is like that (in reality it’s more like a drunk teen trying to sneak in the house at night). There are a lot of new staff at the front desk and they have been giving out tickets for classes that have already well begun, which further exacerbates the issue. People (both members and trainers) from the gym regularly come in during classes to get mats and free weights, or to stretch which further cause distractions. On one occasion this past week, a man sat on the floor for almost an entire class facing the girl’s butts, which was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Simply put, the doors should be locked to prevent people from entering late and signage displayed (i.e. on metal stand in front of door) indicating that there is a class in progress and that entry is not allowed. There used to be tiny signs that were not that visible, but they seem to have disappeared. Instructors need to be more diligent about not allowing participants to join the class after the warm up has passed by (some are good at this, others not so much). The front desk should not be allowing these late admissions by handing out tickets. Members and trainers need to be made aware of to be more respectful and stay out of the room when a class is in progress. Finally, management needs to be monitoring the situation so to protect the gym from unnecessary member injuries and potential lawsuits. Other gyms are better at curbing this practice, but somewhere along the line, this location has not succeeded in this area.

The location is really good, I chose this gym over the Good life one because SN is closer to sky train :) but the area with free weights needs some renovations. It's so crowded all the time, you always have to wait for the squat machine (and sometimes for a veeeery long time) or to look for the free spot to do dead lift and so on. It's very inconvenient

Been a member since they opened doors. The hours are brutal. Was closing at midnight now at 11pm on weeknights and 10pm on Fridays. Weekends is gotta be the worst as many people are up early, can’t wait till 8am to start my workout otherwise stay open late and not shutdown by 8pm. Management if there is one since Ali left needs to address this and staff conduct. You have a bunch of young people working the front desk, first people a customer sees and they can’t even break a smile or say hello. Two of the staff are dating and quite evident in the evenings, sorry that a lawsuit waiting to happen at workplace that tolerates this. This gym has no rules, people workout in their tanks, don’t wipe down any equipment and it seems to be okay with management. There are over 8 personal trainers, you would think some would walk the floor offering new patrons starting to workout tips and proper use of machines, nothing! Many weights don’t get put away where they belong. Biggest ask would be better hours 5am-12am weekdays and 6am-10pm weekends. Oh and if the Gym is going to reply with your standard reply, look up my account and call me on my phone number on file - I’ve escalated my concerns 3x so I’m not going to be reaching out again.
