Starbucks

I usually only go through the drive thru at this location, and despite the extensive menu they are always fast! Baristas taking orders are always friendly and fun and you are greeted with a smile at the window! Love it!

Easily the best Starbucks in Hamilton. Every time I've visited the place was clean, the coffee fresh, the staff pleasant and helpful. I always stop in when I'm in the area.

I was happy to see this location open, but on my last visit all the washroom doors had signs saying "CUSTOMERS ONLY. Ask staff for access." A few problems with this approach: First, if the barista who served you isn't at the counter when you ask, others may not know you're a customer and refuse (happened to me at another coffee chain). Second, if you have young children with you and you can't get staff's attention, the kid(s) may not be able to hold out. Could be worse than any vandalism they might be guarding against. Third, what message does this send about the neighborhood and / or clientele? What the hell was going on in those washrooms? I won't be back.
