If I can add zero stars to this hospital, I would. The worst experience and worst hospital ever. Don't ever come here, as for yourself or for a close family member. First, you walk in. There's no masks and no sanitizer available at your disposition. Second, you get asked a thousand questions by someone who works at the front office which I'm fine with. Although, when you ask for a mask due to health and safety precautions - they don't give it to you and they won't give you one. Their answer is; you have to wait after the nurse. Lastly, you'll wait almost +4 hours in the waiting room to be seen by the doctor. When one of the nurses call you, they'll bring you to a closed off room where you can't go anywhere anymore. If you ask to go to the washroom during the wait of the doctor, they'll tell you no you have to wait to see the doctor first. How ridiculous is this!!
I have had a good experience l in the past but today was a mixture of good and bad! The receptionist was not friendly but not rude! Fine! But the triage nurse was the worst! She treated me like in old retarded, dumb imbecile! After 2 minutes, she walked out on me and passed me to another nurse without a word! I told the nurse and her trainee “Gee, does she hate me?” The nurse said no, she’s going for lunch! But who leaves a patient in the middle of a consult? The receptionist at x-Rays was super kind and pleasant! On top of it, that mean nurse saw some of her friends who spoke same foreign language, they just walked in and she took them in right away although a lot of people were waiting in the waiting room! I dunno if I’ll go back!nW
When I spoke with a receptionist on the phone on May 18th she told me it’s your error and fault with a very hostile, unprofessional , tone in her voice, and in a very rude manner that I didn’t come to my appointment as it clearly indicated for May 18th Saturday as a no show. I told the receptionist on the phone but I don’t always check my email and it was the receptionist yesterday that said will see you on Sunday twice and not Saturday I told her to correct your colleague next time she said this is your problem. As I kept on defending and tried telling her that it wasn’t my fault for the misinformation. Sure I missed my opportunity. But next time don’t hang up the phone on a patient and shut them out from getting an appointment at a public sector as I was not being abusive or terrible to her at all. When the reality is it was the other way around. What she did was very wrong. Too bad people like her are there. If you don’t enjoy your job find a way to move on. Don’t dump your disrespect on someone else. UTMOST SHAME.
They take appointments 2 days in advance at a time, so you can get something really quick if you have any urgent problem.nHad heard horror stories of Canadian healthcare in getting any appointments, so was quite pleasantly surprised to experience this here.nnAll the staff were very friendly. The nurse Marina, if I remember correctly was exceptional. And everywhere we looked, I saw the staff being very kind and pleasant making it comfortable for patients, who would otherwise be very nervous.nnAll good things to say about the place. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews, we went in expecting the same. But our experience was on the contrary.nnAppointment was on time, barely a minute wait.nnWould highly recommend for urgent care!
The lady at the reception with short hair mid aged was very rude to us. It was my first time appointment in Canada and I don’t have a Ramq card yet. She talked to me as if she is scolding me and asked for the identification which I showed on my phone. But she was not very much pleased with it. I didn’t know about Canadian’s health care system. Atleast she could have asked that politely where I am giving money to get treated. It’s not free! And lastly I was disappointed with the doctor he just simply talked to me and asked about the problems and that’s all and referred me to another hospital. My money was a waste.
