Precisely what you would expect on the East side of Glacier, this little family run diner is a perfect breakfast or lunch spot, with friendly service, and the added star for WONDERFUL food that took us by surprise. It's a cute, no frills type of "we're really a diner, and we're not trying to be a diner" type of spot. Grab breakfast, grab a simple sandwich lunch bag to go. When we were there, a note said the fryer was out.... so you can be assured it is likely working and they also have tasty fries. =) Cheers to you guys!

We made our reservations in February. They had a nice site for us on top of the hill over looking upper and lower lake Saint Mary as we stayed for 11 days. The view was beautiful! The facilities were good as was the restaurant. I would definitely stay there again!

Great service. We were attended to a lot, but not too often. Our waitress was so pleasant. Food was good, I really love soup and there's was yummy.

Cafe looks like a log cabin and is well decorated inside with stuff you might find in an old barn. Food is average. They require their burgers be cooked well done so I avoided that and ordered chicken which was fine but nothing to write home about. My wife had a burger which was as expected - dry and tasteless.

This review is of campground only. We camped here late in season (mid Sept) and restraunt and cabins were closed for season. Bathhouse serviceable and clean. Ladies room had four showers, two toilets...an odd ratio, but campground was nearly empty (cold and smokey in Glacier) and I could always get into either without a wait, so no complaints. Far from deluxe but it works. Friendly, knowledgeable office staff. No real store to speak of...a free items for sale like soap and chips. Nearby KOA campground has a great camp store that we used. Campsites are on top of a knoll and are set up to parallel one another. Utilities arranged sensibly. All sites overlook lovely St. Mary Lake. They give you a couple of tokens a day for the shower, each good for six minutes, so plenty adequate. Coffee and cinnamon rolls available in office in a.m. but not cheap. Cost considerably higher than in our lonely planet guidebook, but less than nearby KOA. Laundry room available 24/7 and reasonably priced.
