BikeWorks North: Edmonton Bicycle Commuters Society (EBC)

WOW! I can't believe I was nervous to go and repair my bike. Going to BikeWorks North was the definition of community building. I arrived as soon as it opened and was shocked with how quickly it filled up. I was amazed by how volunteers showed children how to fix their own bikes and the variety of people coming to learn, fix and engage in the biking community. If don't think you can fix your bike by yourself you are wrong! With the low cost and volunteer support you can do it all yourself for the fraction of the cost and feel empowered at the same time. I did! GO NOW!

I've gone to the spoke program here and now I am going onto becoming a volunteer mechanic for bikeworks north, everyone at both bikeworks locations is very friendly. Good on you guys, I hope to learn a lot more from everyone here in the bikeworks community. Sincerely -Owen G.

Excellent community bike shop, knowledgeable volunteer mechanics and great value. I get everything, except the high-end stuff, that I need there to maintain my fleet of bikes.
