KASOA Tropical Food Market.

I’ve been here multiple times now and always stock up when I visit. Every visit has been a great experience. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They carry multiple brands of Caribbean staples that are rarely stocked at mainstream grocery stores. I originally came specifically for Betapac curry powder which is almost impossible to find anywhere else in this city. I was also surprised to find that they carry the large bottles of Matouk’s scotch bonnet hot sauce, along with other Matouk’s flavours in regular sizes.nThey also have a butcher section, with oxtail and other cuts that are hard to find.nnHighly recommend if you cook Caribbean food or are looking for specialty ingredients you just can’t find at regular grocery stores!

If you are looking for African food supplies these guys have done a great job with having most west African and even East African foods.

Terrible customer service and poor quality. I bought a tuber of yam here, and when I went to cook it two days later, it was completely rotten and covered in mold. I had to throw the entire thing away. When I returned to the store with my receipt and photos, the owner was incredibly rude. Instead of offering a refund, she blamed me, suggesting I didn't know how to store it or had left it in my car. She showed zero concern for the quality of her product. I would give zero stars if I could. Very unprofessional—avoid this shop.

Bad yam sale, unapologetically staffs and nothing was done, saying I should bring the yam with the receipt even if I made the video same day I got home. Just wasted money

If you need African food this is the place for you. There is nothing missing here. From sweet potato to salted barracuda. Fresh and frozen meat is available. The store is well lit and clean. The prices are reasonable and there is ample parking. There is a part of the store with bulk flour and beans available. I enjoyed looking at the great variety of food items here.
