My first time visiting this park was today (February 20th). I didn't have much time to explore, so I only saw a fraction of the trails here, but I enjoyed my brief walk through this area. The trails were nice, not overgrown, and not terribly muddy. I also enjoy finding parks that are still green in the winter, and this is one of them. I look forward to returning in the spring when flowers are blooming and leafy plants have sprouted again.

The Southwest County Park is a real gem in an unexpected place. The trails are great if you want to get away from the suburban atmosphere. If you take the steep trails down to the stream and explore it is surprising how big the park really is. Most people never see most of it. Great place to walk or mountain bike. Dog friendly as well.

Very small. 0.5 & 0.7 loop. Muddy this time of year. Ok for a quick walk.
