This used to be such a great place to go in the city. There are no trash receptacles you have to carry your trash to the parking lot. Which in my opinion only hinders our parks from looking clean. The undercover gazebo had no benches or anywhere to sit. I wouldn't advise going after dark.

The lake is gorgeous. Park is small, but kid friendly. Parking was a little weird to get to via main roads and such, but worth it. Beautiful.

Two play structures- one near the parking lot is for smaller kids. The one past the beach has a small  zip line style setup and more jungle gym type feel. Nice public beach with free life vests

Wonderful place to enjoy the weather and water.  Great place to take kids

It could use more kid activities and more vegetation grooming. Otherwise the kids had a good time.
