Went on a beautiful spring day. Didn't see much wildlife, but it was a beautiful spot and an easy walk in the woods.

Easy stroll along the Snohomish River. Was an relaxing outing with our three year old and 4 months old.

It's an excellent place for birding, and there are very nice views of the river. If it's hiking you want, though, you might be disappointed because the trails are short and muddy.

Other than access to the river by a single path, this is a sad example for a wildlife preserve. Much of it is covered with canary reed grass that is slowly being taken over by invasive himalayan blackberries. The parks department did plant some trees years ago (which would inhibit these invasives,) but it could use many more.
