Meadowdale beach trail is a beautiful one mile hike though the forest filled with many beautiful trees creeks and wild flowers. This is a easy hike for the entire family the trail is mild downhill grade but very wide and easy to walk, there is a large picking area at the bottom and just a few feet later you can enjoy the beautiful beach

A nice, very rocky beach. Porta potties over flowing so 'go' before you go. Pretty views and not too crowded. Plenty of picnic areas and a volley ball net. Expect to hear several train whistles as the tracks run along side the beach.

Meadowdale Beach Park made for a great evening stroll. Can get steep but when it got really steep the trail had stairs. Beautiful area because of the large trees and vegetation. Felt like a rainforest with all the ground cover. I would recommend Meadowdale Beach Park to all visitors and locals. Those we passed hiking were very friendly and helpful in directing us which way to go. 5 stars!

So I give the park 5 stars because this is a beautiful park located so close to home I can walk there easily. But be forewarned take all valuables out of your car this park is known for break ins. But other than that great family park, great to take the kids to the beach and let them play and a beautiful view of the mountains.

Great little hike! Coming back up the hill was pretty steep in places, but the trail is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous! I visited in early January and there were only a few parking spaces available, so I can only imagine how busy it is in warmer weather. There are port-a-potties down by the beach as well. Be sure to give yourself enough time to climb back up the hill to get back to your car before dusk as the entrance gate will be closed and locked at that time. There was a sign posted that they would be closed at 5pm when I was there, but he sure to check before you go.
