Great place. Love play area for kids, the pier and beachfront areas are well maintained. Have camping sites as well. Have been coming her for over 30 years and consistently a great experience. Just be prepared to pay to get in. And because it is so great it is very crowded on nice days. If you want to use a shelter on the weekend reserve it ahead of time.

We were very disappointed. We made reservations on line and paid in full only to find someone in our spot when we arrived. The 'OFF DUTY' camp host made a valiant effort by calling the Park Ranger only to be let down again. The Ranger never showed up. So, we had now waited for TWO hours and our patience had run out. So, we left and went to another local camp spot. Hope we can get a refund from Snohomish County Parks. To pay $35 dollars a night and not get a spot was so disappointing! We will NOT be visiting Kayak Point again.

Very cute area! If it didn't cost $10 just to park, I would have given 5 stars... Bathrooms, playground, boat launch, pier, plenty of picnic tables & covered areas, big grassy spots to fly kites, a few trails, camping area and a magnificent view! Will definitely return soon!

Stayed in the yurt village. It's a little expensive but a great way to enjoy camping without the equipment. However the regular campground is wonderful and fairly private as well. Facilities new & kept clean, trails groomed and trimmed. Park rangers are friendly, easy to find, and keep a watchful eye without being overbearing or detracting from stay. Access down to the beach from camp is a short hike down with groomed stairwell. Too steep and long for those with ambulatory disabilities, but access and parking from camp/yurt grounds a breeze! One of my new favorite get aways!

Very nice camping area, well treed, and clean. Wee are tent campers but there are sites for RVs. The payment system took a bit to figure out, would suggest you have cash and small bills as the closest atm is 20 min away. Probably ones closer but we didn't know the area well :)
