It's a really lovely quiet park with lots of picnic tables. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there was easier river access.

I had a blast at the Festival by the River. It is as much fun. We learned some new things. Swam in the river. See friends and met new people.

I had my family photos done here, absolutely beautiful secluded area, nice little river to picnic next to or run a tube in. Beautiful hiking trails and very dog friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys the outdoors!

We went for a bike ride on the Centennial Trail and stayed in the Yurt village. It was great! The Yurt was roomy, heated and had electricity. The bathroom was spotless. It was kind of a cross between tent camping and staying in a camper. I would highly recommend the yurt village.

I appreciate the serenity of the outdoors to be able to spend quality time with my daughter or by myself. The River Side Park is the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of city life or personal stresses that I need to find clarity from. It's not the typical state maintained park, in that it is a larger parcel of land. The amenities are average verses any other park located closer to the center of town. I'm mostly attracted to this park in particular because of the River and the expanse of land on which it's positioned.
