You would never have thought such a delicious Thai place is located in what looks like an abandoned mall. A bit hard to locate but it's at the very corner of the food court. We tried the Tom Yum/eggplant pizza, fried chicken on egg rice and mango salad. The Tom yum flavour on the pizza was stunning and loved how the eggplant side had such fragrant lemongrass flavour. The fried chicken itself was not bad, but the rice underneath is quite well done. Tasty combination. Mango salad was also very authentic, loved the sauce.
This place is really a hidden gem. Tucked in the corner of the King’s Square shopping mall away from center food court. The person working at the counter is very friendly and helpful in suggesting pairings for the 2 flavour pizza. I found this place through Google maps wanting to try something different for dinner in the area. They have a variety of traditional and fusion items on menu. I had the mango salad, 2 flavour pizza and Thai milk tea less sweet very enjoyable Creative Thai take on pizza. If the spice level of chili could be bit more hot and also the Thai flavours of the spicy pork basil and green curry chicken could pop a bit more would be perfectoverall a nice meal and I would return to try other dishes as well pizza flavours. The Thai milk tea is delicious and among the best I’ve had. Strong bold tea, aromatic, smooth and less sweet was the perfect sweetness. Mango salad is very well done and taste great. Balanced sauce. Give them a try if you’re feeling Thai or fusion Thai!
AMAZING NEW THAI PLACE! My recommendations: Thai Pizza - ULTIMATE Fusion of Flavours Seafood Glass Noodles - tangy and well seasoned noodles Fried fishball - Dipped in a crunchy batter and fried to perfection! Mango Sticky Rice - BEAUTIFULLY delicious classic! Thai Milk Tea - not too sweet and packed with a rich tea taste! Mango Salad - crunchy and savoury with a slight kick! The owners are also extremely sweet people Would definitely come again! Worth the drive!
Super tasty hidden gem! SOI Snacks offers both traditional and fusion Thai food. I came because I really wanted to try their pizza. With 8 varieties there's plenty to choose from, and to make your decision process slightly easier, all pizzas can have a 2 flavour combo. I got the Thai chorizo and spicy Thai pork with egg combo. Once I opened the box you could really smell the lemongrass coming through. And not to mention the egg was really the focal point to the pizza. The colours were so colourful and playful similar to their branding. Each bite was full of flavour and tasted so bright. If you like spice, the basil isn't spicy at all so you might have to top it with some hot sauce. I also got the spicy tamarind chicken vermicelli. Similar to the pizza I didn't feel the heat at all but it was a nice light noodle with plenty of chicken. And to wash it all down I got their Thai like tea. If you spend $50 before taxes they'll throw in a mango sticky rice. I liked how colourful this wash as they used a purple rice and some mung bean which gave it a nice mix of texture. There's also plenty of snacks here and a special shokupan which you'll have to call ahead to order. I'll definitely come back to try the rest of their menu!
Hidden gem for authentic Thai food! I love their unique pizzas with toppings such as pad thai, green curry, thai chorizo and khao soi baked to perfection. Their thai milk tea comes in two sweetness levels and the less sweet version was perfect for me. Overall, I enjoyed all the dishes and would be back to try their other flavours!
If you love cheese corn, you need to try SOI Snack's pizza! They have a variety of flavours to choose from and I like how you can choose 2 different flavours. They specialize in Thai fusion street style snacks and pizza! We tried their two flavour pizza Thai chorizo with egg and Korean cheesy corn, fried chicken cartilage, tom yum seafood with mama noodles and egg, mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea. I’d recommend everything we tried especially the tom yum noodles and the mango sticky rice! Their Thai milk tea was also really strong and I like how they have a regular and less sugar option. Service was also amazing!
This little Thai place is located in the food court of King Square Shopping Centre in Markham. Interesting twist of Thai flavour pizzas, plus other Thai noodle & rice and street snacks. Got to check it out, very interesting menu.
Really enjoyed the Green Curry Pizza. I like how each slice has the perfect amount of toppings. You can also opt to do half/half with the pizzas at no additional charge. The mango sticky rice was also really good, as was the mango salad that came with our meal. I wish the Thai milk tea was stronger, it tasted a bit watered down IMO. Other than that, food was great. Will be back for sure, especially to try the other pizzas!
I love Thai food but I've never had anything like this before. Thai Pizza! Yes, you read that right, Thai Pizza! I've never had anything like this before! It was half Khao Soi and half Spicy Thai Basil Pork with Egg. Sounds unusual? Yes, but it works, it really works! It was certainly different, in the best possible way, and absolutely delicious! First of all, the key to a good pizza is the crust. They nailed it just right. It was light, airy, and crispy. Next is the cheese. They nailed that too. Then there's the toppings - half the pizza was dressed with pork and topped with an egg. The other half was topped with Khao Soi ingredients and flavour. Nailed it! Both combinations were delicious! We also tried a few of their other offerings - Thai Fried Chicken Paella, Fried Pork Balls, Sticky Rice & Mango, and Thai Milk Tea. The chicken was ultra crispy, the rice was nicely seasoned, and the cilantro sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Yummy! The Pork Balls, resembling fried wontons, served with a sweet and sour sauce, were delicious! The Sticky Rice with Mango and Thai Milk Tea were the perfect ending to a great tasting meal. It was all good! I'll have to come back for even more! Check out SOI Snacks at King Square Mall Food Court, Markham
Such a delicious spot for Thai food, with some unique menu items like Thai pizza! Everything I had was wonderful but I particularly enjoyed the Khao Soi Pizza. Their Mango & Sticky Rice, and Thai Iced Tea I got mine less sweet which was fantastic are definitely also must orders!
