Hana Don

Quiet place to have dinner. Service was excellent. Tentative staff. If you have food allergies, let staff know, they will accommodate. Food tastes great. The squid ink seafood stir-fry is simple, yet, it really showcases, the chewy textured rice, great depth in aroma and taste. Fresh ingredients, well balanced sushi rice. Would try everything in the menu if I can. Also did taken out previously, hot, well packaged and on par with dine in experience.

We got A06, F08, and K05. Service was great no doubt there. They were very attentive and made sure our experience was great. Loved the Hana Roll. Each bite just melted in my mouth and nothing was overpowering. The seafood don was alright. Fish was fresh, but I’d recommend trying another don as this one didn’t hit the spot quite right. The haddock fish fillet set was pleasant. It came with some sort of green salt, which kinda tasted like matcha tea powder as you taste it longer very interesting to experience. Also I just really loved the plates + utensils… : The interior of the store was beautiful as well, so if you are looking for cute dinner pics this is the place.

Food was good and the recommendations by our server was great. The atmosphere itself was great and it got a bit busier as the night went on. Staff was a little overwhelmed that lead to longer wait times for service, tea refill and even getting the bill. Overall the food was good and the fish was fresh. The price point is slightly more on the mid to upper range. Take your time to eat your food, the portions are good but if you are a big eater, you will not be full with one entree. It's more about the experience and atmosphere that you get when dining in.

The restaurant was completely booked with reservations on a Wednesday night. We sat at the sushi bar, which was fine. We got to see all the chefs working so hard! We both ordered the lobster bowl and were both a little disappointed. The flavour was just ok. The Hana roll was amazing, so I will definitely go back to try their sushi and other rolls.

A great and popular don place. The food quality is great - both for the sashimi and unagi don, and portions were reasonable. It is a bit premium, so prices reflect that accordingly. The restaurant is decently big but also pretty popular. We did a walk in and the person at the door said if we had to wait longer than 30 minutes that we would get 10% off - it took 33 minutes and she came by our table at the beginning to tell us to remind our waiter that we have a 10% off due to the wait time, which was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful restaurant. Everyone is so friendly and service is amazing! My favourite item was the live scallop, probably one of the best scallops I've ever had! The presentation was beautiful and every part of the scallop tasted so different. It was sweet, fresh and full of flavour. The baked oyster on special was so juicy, fresh, flavourful and cheesy! I give the baked oyster a 8/10. Sushi was presented beautifully on a long wood board, taste was 7/10. Perfect rice portion but could use more seasoning. The katsu was also beautifully presented, taste was 7/10.

Arrived at about 6 pm on a Sunday and the place was pretty packed. Their venue probably only had 20 tables, but there was little to no wait when we arrived. The staff was super nice and welcoming when we arrived and sat down, excellent service and attitudes from them. The wait for the food to arrive at the table could use some improvement, but I assume that because it was so busy and everyone put their orders in at around the same there was to be some delay expected. Their food was well-presented and very colorful, and the overall taste was pretty good. You can see the quality of the food through their presentation of each bowl. However, I will admit that the prices were a little on the high side and their portions were quite small. Overall: Food: 7 out of 10 Staff: 8 out of 10 Décor/Atmosphere: 9 out of 10

The food is just as we expected! Excellent presentation, everything was delicious and fresh. Prices are definitely up there but with the quality of the food it's worth it. Staff are all very friendly and food all came very quickly. Would recommend booking for a table if visiting on a busier night. Can't wait to go back again !

I came here for early dinner on a weekday and was greeted with friendly/attentive staff. There are a lot of options for their don selection as well as fresh seafood, so please take your time. Although leaning on the pricier side, the ingredients were fresh and portions were good. We found the rice on the soft-shell crab don too sweet for our liking.

"Legit" sake selection. Great service. Suggestion is well made by the server. The design of the interior can be done a bit better. Style seems clashed with some of the concept. Food is amazing as well. Over all great experience. Would highly recommended. Price is on the higher end. But the food quality justified for it.
