Sobeys Urban Fresh Mount Pleasant

Great location and parking available. Wheelchair accessible and wine rack at the checkout area. They have friendly staff and are taking the proper safety measures with covid19. I'd say they are probably one of the better grocery stores in the area for being on top of saftey measures. Stores always clean but the downside is due to the stores size i find they lack in the produce section. A little on the higher side for prices, but the food is fresh. I recommend bringing your own bags when you go, they offer paper bags but they are big and have no handles so walking with multiple would be a challenge. Also the wine rack is open until the store closes incase you miss the LCBO or Beer Store.

Horrible supermarket that is now closing down. Good riddance. Overpriced products, surly staff. My most recent experience involved a cashier who refused to pass me a 12-pack of pop because she thought it was too heavy to lift from the front of the register to the packing area behind. The trip before that, the cashier simply walked away and left me standing for several minutes while she sorted out a problem with another employee. Always an adventure. Glad to see them go.

This small grocery store surprisingly fits in all of the essentials for a decent grocery store. The shelves are always stocked and the attached is always friendly and helpful. The only downsides to this place are that the parking isn't super convenient and the prices at Sobeys tend to be a bit more than the budget stores.

It's ok. Reasonable little neighborhood grocery store. The produce is sometimes a bit lackluster. And the meat section often doesn't have much variety. But it covers the basics, and although I dont usually go for that they seem to have a nice prepared food section. Nice bread, but they sell out of the good loaves so go early for that.

This store is being shut down on October 29th 2020, all the employees are being kicked out with only "opportunities" to apply for other stores. A lot of great people who have a lot of stories to share that rely on this job to keep their families afloat are all having their livelihoods ripped away from them, with no guarantee of a new job position, even full time employees and managers. Everyone who has earned increased pay rates will have to start from scratch. Absolutely disgusting, especially considering all the regular elderly folk and people with disabilities who rely on our store to survive, they will be forced to travel MUCH longer distances to get their food, or will have to rely on deliveries even after the Covid crisis is over, which is already dipping too heavily into their pension, as I've been told. Enjoy the location while you can, and sorry if the employees are a bit moodier than usual, I hope you can understand WHY.

Typical Sobeys urban fresh, although this one is larger than most. Decent variety and helpful staff. Wine rack is inside which is great if you're looking for a cheap bottle to go with dinner.

Doesn't have much variety.. Generally it will have normal grocery and on some days those are also misisng.. SOME DAYS the vegetables are not that fresh.. An added benefit is the Wine Rack inside the premises.. so you don't have to search for LCBO..

Great selection!! Always most of the time very high quality and delicious items!! Staff excellent and highly professional!! Wine store has Excellent service and quality!! Sits next to Breton House a seniors residence! The seniors love to shop here!! Great neighbourhood!!

Nice neighborhood grocery store. Helpful staff and pleasant atmosphere. It is a small store, so selection is not huge, but they do very well maintaining variety in the space available. Also has a little wine and cider boutique shop by the exit.

Overpriced groceries but convenient if you live in the area. Like so many other places they can't figure out how far apart 6ft is and have their social distancing markers to lineup about 4ft apart. Forcing people to touch a cart during COVID is also silly when running in for just one thing.
