Metro

New Store manager means service is slowly, and I mean very slowly starting to improve. The old cashiers were horrendous as was the leadership group. Fast-forward to today and they've added a few new staff members that are actually engaging and polite. Have had so many issues with this over the years with service and lack of product that I've lost count. Only one way to go but up! Moved from one star to two...

We call this the ghetto Metro for its very sad offerings and awful store experience. Worst seafood, little organic, constantly out of stock. And what they carry is nasty and overpriced. Premade food is ick and the deli is staffed by ladies who stink of cigarette smoke.

Went here to pick up a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates. I had my doubles about getting it from here. When I walked through the doors, I immediately smelled the aroma of the flowers. They weren't dried or dying like most flowers I see in supermarkets. They were fresh and extrmely affordable. The boxes of chocolates weren't the greatest but I found what I was looking for. The cashier was friendly and I was in and out if there in no time. It was a wonderful experience all together.

Terrible store. I ordered a pizza for pickup there. On employee change over the order was lost. I had to order a pizza again. 70 min later I still don't have a pizza. SAD. If they are this bad I would hate to see the food handling in this store. SHOP elsewhere and buy food elsewhere. (that was in 2013) Now in 2017 if one goes there at 7pm for a pizza the is frequently no dough because it is still frozen. (note the deli section closes at 9pm)

The service here is pretty bad, the younger cashiers are a bit better though. food is generally over priced in comparison to the Loblaws down the road.
