Metro

This place is a dump compared to the one in my neighborhood. The older lady at the deli counter looked like she didn't want to be there. I was standing there and she couldn't be bothered to serve me. I had to call her over to get served. And then she would just dump the stuff and walk away when I wasn't finished ordering. Then the guy at cash, after he cashed me out, started bagging my stuff into another lady's shopping bag. When I pointed out to him what he was doing, he was totally oblivious . I think I will stick to my regular Metro at Kennedy Commons.

Great little store with Deli and bakery. Deli has several economical options for lunch. I personally like their pizza slices. Their weekly flyer has many deals and are great. Checking the flyer in advance will help you shop within budget. They have a small little free parking area just beside/behind the store.

Had Mad Mexican samples here and purchased their amazing Guacamole

We bought a couple of christmas cake the dark cake style at this store, just before christmas, and at best......they were stale....at worst, ...which I think is the case, they were last year's stock!!! The cake was stale and the marzipan icing had hardened!!! Watch out for stale or outdated product!!!

I like to stop in at this tiny Metro near the Lawrence subway stop. I'll drop off or pick up my kids at the TTC, and then pop in for a few quick things, but always end up getting more than intended. Been doing this for my 30 years in the neighborhood. Well stocked for a small location & easy to maneuver in a few minutes.
