The Lady at counter 5 today[ 6/Nov ] was very rude. If you are not feeling well or whatever is going on with you does NOT give you the right to shout at a customer especially if they've been othing but nice to you! Someone in the position to give support and assistance creating an unpleasant experience is the epitome of a bad day.

I was dreading heading here for the reasons everyone does. Instead I got an incredibly helpful employee, and a very smooth process overall. Highly recommend this location, but please note they do not do passport renewal. I was there for provincial photo id.

Service was good and professional. I went with all the necessary documents and I was done in 5-10 mins. Only issue is it is inside a Canadian tire and wait areas overlaps with shopping isles.

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS EMPLOYEE HAD A COMPLAINT, YOU WILL SEE THOSE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS HERE.nnThe woman sitting on desk 1 today Sept. 24, 2025 with Spanish or Mexican descent at around 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM should look for another job or better off retire. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her signature move to get you intimidated is the EYE ROLL she did that on me 3x—I’m like, I ain’t scared of you woman, you are just an immigrant like myself. I work in hospitals and I regularly deal on people with worst attitudes like you. She really thought I’m not going to raise my voice and will act like a puppy. Well, she was wrong. She settled when I acted firm and by not acknowledging her explanations. I still acted cool but not even nice and polite from what I did in the beginning since she greeted me with an entitled attitude.nnFunny, she had to call someone on the phone regarding my case. She didn’t even look on my birth certificate saying she don’t need it, then afterwards she asked for it—WOW, this woman still don’t know what her doing after all the years she was working there…she needed to ask someone to do her job nnWhat’s even funnier and somehow confusing, she began talking nice to me after she made the call. She was smiling, telling me stories about her family and stuff Ma’am I don’t care just do your job. She’s like having two personalities happening at the same time, which is really weird! She thought I’ll let my guard down…in my mind I’m saying, “No Ma’am, you already showed me who you are.”nnEnding? She just instructed me to call a number which by the way, she got this information from their rescue hotline clearly she has a foul mouth but brain of a tin can. I know she was expecting me to thank her after all she have done. Nope, I just left—she deserve to be ignored with that awfully poor customer service.nnWell, I hope someone management from that branch will read this and do something. More than 3 complaints on one employee is a lot, don’t you think? Why do you keep this type of employee?nnFor the woman on desk 1, IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB, JUST QUIT. You’re not helping anyone. It appears you lash out to your customers because you’re sad and miserable. JUST QUIT YOUR JOB THERE, IT’S FOR EVERYONE’S SAKE. Don’t do customer service, it’s just common sense.

This is the worst ServiceOntario location I have ever visited! Six employees on the floor, all working at a glacial pace. I arrived before 8:30 am with only six people ahead of me, and it still took over an hour to be served!nnThe Spanish woman assigned to “help” me was anything but helpful. She was abrasive, rude, and downright disrespectful. Completely unprofessional, she turned what should have been a simple transaction into an absolute nightmare. She even threatened that if I went to another location, the same thing would happen and I wouldn’t be able to renew my OHIP. She demanded irrelevant documents, claimed they were required, and said she had made a note in my file.nnI have never been so disgusted by the conduct of a public service employee. She was far more interested in bullying me and throwing her weight around than actually doing her job.nnLater that day, I went to the Victoria Street ServiceOntario at 5 pm with the EXACT SAME DOCUMENTS I had brought in the morning. There were 20 people ahead of me, yet the line moved rapidly. 30 minutes later, I was seen. No problems, no attitude, no made-up requirements. In five minutes, they took my new photo, processed my renewal, and I walked out with my renewed OHIP.nnThe quality of training and customer service at the St. Clair Stockyards location is appalling.nnThis is an abuse of power and a waste of time. Go to the downtown locations instead service is faster, respectful, and most importantly, competent!!!
