My grandmother has been at Runnymede Healthcare Centre for two days since her knee surgery. Everything has gone well! The facility is clean, and her room is spacious. Plus, the nurses, physicians, and physical therapists have all provided her with outstanding care. A big thank you!
The multi-disciplinary approach that my mother is receiving here is nothing short of remarkable - a diverse group of experts working tirelessly to enhance her independence. Each member of her team embodies qualities of kindness, empathy, and expertise, illustrating a strong commitment to their work. I have complete trust and faith in the capabilities of this team, and I am profoundly thankful for the opportunity my mother has to be under their care. It brings me great comfort to know that she is part of an organization that prioritizes her well-being and offers her the best possible chances for a significant improvement in her overall quality of life.
My mother has been in this facility for a few months now, and I must say that the staff has been simply amazing. The physiotherapy team, in particular, has put in a lot of effort to work with her, demonstrating true concernand attention. It's amazing to witness how much they care about her well-being, which has a huge impact on her recuperation.
The intensive rehab program at Runnymede post-accident was a life changer for me. The daily therapy sessions and the team’s motivation made my recovery smoother than I expected. They helped me regain my confidence and handle my trauma with patience. Highly recommend!
My father suffered a severe spinal infection and was bedridden for 7 months because the healthcare system never diagnosed it. eventualy he was treated and sent to Runnymede and while he had other health issues become apparent after, they didn't help with his physical conditioning at all and kept trying to rush him out of the place. that one guy Farooq constantly told me he was too deconditioned in an attempt to just get him to give up. Dr Dengar had him get fluid when his creatinine levels were high and that accelerated the kidney failure he was diagnosed with a month after leavingnnunder no circumstances should anybody with anything beyond deconditioning go here. My father had a fractured L5 vertebrae and they weren't mindful of that at all, they treated him like he was merely recovering from being bedridden and nothing was accomplished. this health centre exists merely as a funding ploy and they dont actually want to help people. Fortunately, my father after being hospitalized again was sent to Providence Healthcare which gave him physio therapy that was geared towards someone who had the type of injury he had and as such he is now walking with a cane and is able to do tasks independently. If you want my opinion they should tear Runnymede down and replace it with affordable housing. If you have the option demand Providence Healthcare instead.
