Really nice little super market, cheapest place to get some decent quality products. They have a nice little veggie/vegan option which is a big plus.nIt’s quite tiny, and usually packed, so hard to navigate and not have people yelling at you to move your cart etc.. I go there every 3-4 weeks to resupply some general essential items, but they don’t have Everything that you would need.nThe avocados are cheapest place to get them, and they are good size and tasty.nI would recommend this little market any day !!!
This store kind of hiding, as there are no big signs or colors. I just followed someone who walked in. I was impressed by the fresh fruits, and also by some frozen vegan food.nPrices are reasonable. The checkout waiting time did not take too long.
An icon of the Plateau I hope stays standing for a long time. The cheapest prices in the area possibly even the island for produce and pantry items, not so much for meats and dairy. Can be a bit hectic at times, but that comes with the experience and is worth the price any day. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting and keeping students, young people, and other frugally-minded folks afloat for decades! The David to Montreal's many Goliaths Loblaws, Sobeys, Metro.
Yes, this place is not always the cleanest but it is not as bad as some have written about. Yes, this place can also get crowded but it is a testament to the service they offer to the community. One thing they have right is they still charge reasonable prices for many items. So, if you want iga cleanlinest and prices, then this place might not be for you. But, if you want food at reasonable prices and willing to wait in line, then you need to check this place out. Be patient though!
Great grocery store with lots of options and cheap prices, however, you get what you pay for in terms of service. One of the staff in particular was incredibly rude which left a bad taste of my shopping experience. Go there for the food but don’t expect any help or even civil conversation!
