Well rounded supermarket. Doesn’t accept Amex.
People are complaining about the conversion of this Provigo to a Maxi, as there are other Maxi stores nearby. However, this particular one is much better than the other two in terms of price, cleanliness, product selection, and location for those who live near the condos. I’m super impressed with how well they have stocked all the shelves. Hopefully, they can maintain this practice for a long time.
I've been a Maxi customer for many years, but my last visit to this establishment makes me rethink that. An unidentified employee without a uniform simply cursed me and called me lazy because I was picking corn and kindly told him that a trash can nearby would be useful. I was surprised by his response and he told me that what I was doing was sloppy and that I should be ashamed. Even though I told him that it was a common practice among customers and I gave him an example of Super C, he told me to go and do my shopping there… in response to this I actually went to the competitor and you can see in the photo the standard they have there. with caring and non-harassing employees.
I went to this Maxi and noticed right away that their organic food and frozen section is near the front entrance just past the vegetables'. I am always impressed with the amount of items they have to fit my needs. I met an amazing young man named Benny. He was very professional, courteous and helpful. Not just Benny, but all the employees I came across that day were very helpful.
A big Provigo store. Provigo keeps it tight in maintaining its image. Overall a nice store.n Big Store, Large Number Of Items, Clean, Self Checkout available, Friendly Staff, Ample Parking, Live soup and breakfast corner and tables to sit on mezzanine level.n None.
