Fresh produce, lots of bread selections including gluten free. Decent selection of cheese including local Quebec made.nGood prices on the basics - eggs, milk, etc.nClean store. Several cashiers and self check out available.nAccepts cans and bottles for recycling.nBig parking lot.
This Maxi outlet offers occasional discounts, but the LaSalle Maxi outlet has discounts on different products every day.
Since this supermarket was converted from Provigo to Maxi, its quality has dropped dramatically. Diverse local brands have been replaced by foreign brands of questionable taste and quality. Unlike other stores, which typically offer just one aisle of international foods, this location is now almost entirely stocked with imported items. I can no longer find the local brands that were previously available, as they’ve been replaced by lower-quality alternatives. As a local, I no longer feel welcome in the store, especially given the lack of local representation among the staff as well.
they leave no carts near the main doors so everyone who comes by foot or from the nearby bus/metro/trains has to go down the elevator or escalator to the underground parking just to get a shopping cart. it's a terrible way to treat the 75% of your customers who don't come by car, many of whom are elderly and not very mobile.nnthere are also too few staff to help if you can't find something, and the automated checkout always only has one employee who cannot help everyone who needs it quickly because there are simply too many auto-checkouts eight, to be exact for one person to handle.
This is probably the dirtiest grocery store I have ever been to.nIt always smells of piss and alcohol when you walk in and has garbage along your walk.nAlong the food lanes there are also spills and messes from the day that are not cleaned up.nTerrible experience overall.
