Routes Car Rental

We travelled Calgary and Banff national park with a car from here. Car is perfect, staff at here are kind and considerate. We had some probelm of our credit card because we are international traveller from Korea, but they tried their best to rent us a car. Also for the airport shuttle, they picked up us only 5 minutes after we called them. Also they dropped off us at airport after returned car. It was really nice experience with them, and with Banff

We've never rented a vehicle before and came across this rental company and they were very helpful with the rental. Loved the Jeep we rented, pay the windshield insurance if you are headed to the mountains. Will definitely rent from them again and they provide shuttle to airport which is a plus for us.

It has been my best experience rental cars. The car was excellent and clean. The staff is friendly and I received a personalized treat. If you need to contact them; only call them. One of their staff would reply to the phone, not robots, not long waiting lines. Traveling from the airport to the car rental location is only 10 minutes. The shuttle is clean and has a lot of room for your luggage. Everyone is friendly and professional. I recommend Routes Car Rental instead of the traditional and big companies.

We had a great experience with routes car rental. I was a little hesitant to rent from here only because they're off site from the airport and you need to get a shuttle and we were traveling with two young kids 4 and 2. I'm so glad we rented from them. My son was ecstatic about getting a Jeep. It was very clean. The customer service was great and the service for us was quick. We decided the day before we were to return it that we wanted to extend our vacation so we just gave them a call and we were able to do so no problem for a great rate. Upon returning the Jeep the shuttle was already there waiting which was coincidence but still made it a better experience for us! And the final inspection of the vehicle was quick and painless. I would definitely recommend this company and I will be using them again. They're cheaper then the on-site airport rentals and the shuttle was really painless and short.

I was returning my rental when I hit a pothole and the tire immediately exploded. Luckily I pulled over to safety. I have been calling the company for roadside assistance for over 2 hours now. I am kept on hold by many customer service agents who do not actually work in the office/location where I rented from. I have been given 3 different numbers for roadside assistance and none of them work. I am about to miss my flight home. No one seems concerned at all about my safety or retrieving this car. I could never ever recommend this company to anyone. This is a safety hazard and a huge liability. I am still waiting to speak to someone and get help. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT book with Routes. This is completely unprofessional and disorganized. I am appalled that this company is in business and operating this way.

The staff are helpful and their rates are reasonable. I asked them to fit the car seats for my refused and they refused due to safety matters. Apart from this, they are pretty good.

Good service. Chose a any car option and got a keep wrangler which was neat. Gas tank wasn’t full when I got it and when I filled it to bring it back it cost me probably $30 or so more than it should of. Also open at 8. Had to drop off car at 6 to get to airport which cost me another $22 in Uber. It would be nice if they operated when airport operates.

We had some trouble with getting the insurance confirmed for our rental...but through it all the customer service was good and they were very polite. They got it figured out then and the vehicle was great! Picture is the one we got.

This has got to be one of the best rental companies out there. The process is smooth. Customer service is too notch. Prices are great and the best part about them....the jeeps. I am a repeat customer and would go to them everytime.

Great experience from start to finish. We travelled to Calgary from the UK. Rented a RAM pickup truck to take to Banff. The truck was fairly new with low mileage and was an absolute pleasure to drive, especially in the snow. The fuel policy was fair, collect with half a tank and return with at least the same. There was no hard sell on insurance as we'd already pre purchased through VIP car rentals. They just wanted to see the certificate to ensure it covered pickup trucks. They also offered a shuttle service which is about a ten min ride to/ from the airport.
