RONA

Awful customer service. Ordered an item online, which I received with extended delay due to Canada Post strike. The item was sent by Purolator. It finally arrived. When I asked the Park and Tilford store in North Vancouver honor the senior’s discount due to delay in arrival, the on duty manager named “MAHSA”, refused to do it. So she, and Rona company are Not willing to honor the discount and keep the customer happy, rather to lose the sale by me returning the item, and writing this negative review. In this economy, you should be happy when people spend money at your store. She even did not have courtesy to show some empathy and try to make it right for the customer. Just simply horrendous service.

Good luck if you ever need to return anything.nEspecially if from another “company store”.nMany common items are not carried in NV store so waste of time trying to return and get your money back. Huge time suck. Will not shop here…would rather drive a little further and go somewhere that understands and cares a little about customer service

I made the mistake of purchasing a brand new LG gas range from Rona in late December 2023znI used it three times when it caught fire and could have burned down my brand new condonI did contact Rona and they wanted nothing to do with my problem whatsoever.nThey just told me it was not their problem and to contact LG.nLG six weeks later have done nothing.nLesson one I will never again deal with RonanLesson Two I would not personally ever purchase an LG stove because one that caught fire in my home

I go to this Rona often due to convenience of location but they have a lot of inventory issues. Probably about 50% of the times I go there they sell what I am looking for but it is just not in stock. Also, they are very stingy about their return policy. I was rejected for a return on a defective tool and had to argue it and show them their own return policy to get it accepted.

If I could give less stars I would. The lumber yard closes at 6pm..... On top of that they have awful selection and stock is always out. I went to a different Rona and I was blown away by how much better it was. Please do better?
