Island County Fair Grounds

We were only there for the Christmas Craft Boutique. It was very nice and located in the 4H building. Had a lot of hand crafted gifts from local community. As far as the fairgrounds we gave up years ago on this fairgrounds and the staff that ran it but who knows now. That was about ten years ago.

Not as good as it used to be. The fair seems tp be getting more and more boring

There are no sewer/graywater hookups, so you have to move your RV to dump or use a tote. The bathrooms and showers are pretty clean, but run down also, and quite far from the camp spots. The price is high for what you get. However, they do have 30 amp hookups.

Cutest little fairgrounds I have ever encountered. Can't wait to return next year!

We love this fair! Small and friendly. Easy to park, easy to find your way around. LOTS of food choices, including the usual fair faves as well as some healthy options like salad and baked potato bar. Very kid friendly, there's even a diaper changing and breastfeeding booth. Performers include musicians and giant bubble blowers. Lots of interactive and educational stations like getting to make a clay pot on a pottery wheel, or spinning a question wheel at the EMS booth. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that there was no Ferris wheel this year, and the carnies are creepy, but maybe that's not their fault.
