Rge Rd

Finally made it to Rge Rd for my birthday dinner. It exceeded my lofty expectations. The food was excellent. Our server Matt was attentive, knowledgable, and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. The dining experience was superb. Our vote for the best restaurant in the city goes to Rge Rd.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for years. I brought my mom and sister here for their first tasting menu experience. The dining experience here was great. And the place was packed even on an early in the week weekday. The food was original and well presented. I’d like to return every time I come back to Edmonton.

My husband and I treated ourselves to RGE RD a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. From the locally sourced ingredients to the presentation of the food, dining here is an experience. I love that menu items has its own twist daily depending what is available that day or week. Everything is explained prior to you ordering. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and so knowledgeable.nnWe started with their perogies, scotch egg and sourdough bread. For the entrees my husband had the strip loin and I had the wagyu steak. For dessert we had the blueberry semifreddo and cranberry tart. All carefully prepared and delicious.nnI do have to mention I find the tables are a little too close together. With that said; I understand the demand to get a seating at this restaurant is high so they do have to seat guests as best they can. But even an extra few inches would make a difference.nnHowever, still highly recommend. So so worth the visit! I would definitely return.

Went here for a small staff dinner and we opted to try the tasting menu. Definitely one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had in a while and the service was fantastic. While the was good, it didn’t blow me away. Overall, the food was quite delicious but I felt that some courses were better than others and the way the tasting menu was presented didn’t always make sense. I will say that they are definitely good at what they do, since the steak was the best part of the menu and if I were to come back for one thing it would be the steak.

This restaurant was recommended to us by American Express. Was amazed with the softest and most tender bison meat I’ve tried! The desert was very light and delicious too. Service was amazing, the restaurant was a bit dark. The food was all good, the Philippines bun was great but could use a bit more seasoning; however, every other dish is very good!
