This is one of the hippest new establishments in Edmonton. Implanting themselves in the Brewery District, this is definitely the shining new gem serving up the best Mexican food and tequila in the city.nnThe food is mind blowing. I'd call it Mexican fusion. A very modern twist on their dishes makes this such a go to for forward thinking dining.nnThe service is exceptional. Bryn is so amazing as our server. And the management team are so generous and friendly.nnThe space is extremely sexy and encouraging of a social atmosphere. I can't wait until the patio is done!nnI'd give it six stars if I could.....nn5 x
Service was very impressive, they were on it! Atmosphere was very comfortable and the right amount of upscale. The food was very flavourful but it lost points for me because it was salty. I say this being a salt lover. I’m constantly over salting. It took away from the flavour because the food was really good but I was constantly left with salt in my mouth after which really took away from the food. I had all the vegan dishes though so it might definitely be different with the meat. So if you’re going in for vegan, ask for less salt.
First time at this great place. The place was hopping because of a playoff game so we sat at the bar. We had a few margaritas & tried the beer on tap. Super friendly bartenders. Way to go! We shared mixed appie plate with extra chips. Very flavourful & spicy & tasty. We also shared a few shrimp, carnitas & fish tacos. Nice to go to a place that the food is tasty & the portions are generous. We look forward to going back with a generous appetite to try other items on the menu. Very attentive & friendly staff who make you feel so welcome. Staff there work so well together with everyone helping each other out. Impressive.
What a beautiful restaurant with an awesome staff! Totally different experience from the one I received in Calgary.nnThe food was excellent, my group met here prior to our meeting and so happy we checked it out as it just newly opened. We can't wait for the rooftop patio to open up!!nnWe all ordered the lunch special Speedy Gonzales lunch special choice of 2 classic tacos with mini guacamole and soda drink all for $15. Portions were great!! We didn't have time to try dessert but will definitely go back.nnNo issues with parking as plenty of it.nGreat central location in Unity Square.
Oh the vibe is great! The music is just my type, and it isn’t too loud, but it’s definitely not a place to have intimate/deep conversations If you’re looking to chill and enjoy some satisfying tacos and the best margaritas in town, come to Añejo! We went on Cinco de Mayo, and the place was packed but the service was still surprisingly fast! We were very well taken care of by Marissa. Her cheerfulness didn’t fade at all! I also love how the crew here is always on the lookout to clear the tables. I adore attentiveness! It is, by far, my favorite Mexican restaurant in Edmonton! I suggest you make a reservation, and aim for the happy hour!
