I visited here for a girl's night and I always read reviews before going anywhere. My friend mentioned that she wasn't sure of the food because most reviews spoke about the service. I can now understand why as the service is outstanding.nI had the coconut shrimp, guacamole, and a trio of tacos. Everything was really good, especially the coconut shrimp. The drinks were really good too.nI did have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a table but that's on me for just walking in on a Friday night. I'll for sure be visiting here again especially for happy hour as they have a good deal.
I was inspired by my coworkers at JW Marriott and decided to drop by on a cold windy wet night. Everything was great, the staff was friendly and supportive, the vibe with voodoo style is actually good with the coming Halloween, the foods were great, we got too much and couldn't finish all. We will definitely come back.
Stopped in for lunch. It was not too busy. Service was prompt and polite from the hostesses. Server was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Pointing out special and specific menu items. Place was clean and food came out quickly. As lunch progressed, the place for busier but service never dropped. Food was delicious and the menu varied. It warrants a return visit to try more food.
Great addition to Brewery District.nTasty and fast cocktail after ordering.nTacos came fast and we're good, the one on the left was the better of the two.nMy steak main was great as well.nnNice views and good service.nnOnly quip is I called in advance to ensure sitting on the rooftop patio wasn't a problem and was assured it wouldn't be. Got there and was steered toward sitting at the bar despite the patio being half empty at 315 pm. I asked to sit at a table and was eventually allowed it felt to sit at one and reminded that there was a reso there for 530. Don't think I would spend 2 hours there by myself but I digress.nnWould come back again.
Great place to party with a large group of friends. Large selection of alcohol, brewery district, rooftop patio, easy to share food. The vibe is definitely for the younger and young at heart crowds. Not really my style since I'm a geezer and probably days away from angrily shouting at kids to stay off my lawn.nnEither way, I was here with a group of friends and we did have a great time, it was tough having to shout at each other with our mouths full of tacos though.nnSpeaking of tacos, a little pricey but they are delicious and filling. Fish tacos were slapping but the chorizo was a bit dry. Hot sauce selection was great with mild, medium and hot available and in bottles! I hate getting the tiny cups of hot sauce! Tortilla soup was forgettable, not much in terms of depth and flavour. Guac was really tasty but did seem small in terms of portions.nnService was great, our server was patient with our numerous questions and our diminished hearing capabilities.nnI would recommend trying it out at Anejo, keep in mind it's more of a party vibe and not a quiet place to eat tacos and contemplate.
