Cozy restaurant with great food and friendly service. The olives are a standby favorite. The feature dish of cajun chicken was outstanding. Chicken was flavourful and juicy. The food was overall good but the Brussel sprouts were a bit too charred leaving a bitter after tasted. The red cabbage with the schnitzel was excellent but didn’t make up for the schnitzel bread crumbs tasting stale. The mushroom and bone marrow toast was good but the 4 tiny pieces of toast seemed chintzy and underwhelming. Still a nice if not pricey dinner.
Went to PIP early am for breakfast. I didn’t expect this place to be so popular- I almost walked away because of the wait. But it was worth it!! The bartenders and staff were super nice and accommodating, asked us how our drinks/meals were and all around very pretty environment. Now for the food, I got the crab eggs benny along with an espresso martini. The espresso martini was VERY “espressoie” I’m used to more creamer but still yummy. And the eggs benny was to die for. You can tell everything is homemade, probably the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had. The only thing I can critique is the crab was a >bit
Beautiful place for dinner. Went twice in one week, once with my mom and once with my husband. Got different plates each time and all of them were absolutely delicious. Most noteworthy was their Good Neighbour house red wine, it was exquisite. More pricey but worth it! Can’t wait to go back, maybe to try their brunch.
First time coming to their new location and it's really nice. Great atmosphere, service was relatively quick for the Restaurant being full, and the wait time was respectable for brunch service around 11am. I had the croque monsieur and it was really tasty, hit the spot for a nice savoury dish. I would recommend getting their house hot sauce too. My wife had the oyster mushroom Benny and she devoured it lol... Must have been good, no time for me to even try it lol.nnOverall, I recommend coming here, if you have a party of 6-8 then make reservations early as you can get seated in their party room nnThanks for a nice brunch, will have to come back for a sweet day
Had a great night with friends over at Pip! I would suggest reserving a table as it seems like they always have a lot of customers. The ambience was really nice and it’s good for any date nights or simply just a hang out with friends. I had their special apps for the night which tasted amazing the cheese just melts in your mouth. I also had a glass of wine which was amazing to balance out the meal. As for my main dish, I had the steak and frites with prawns on top. One of my friends had the beef ragu and it was also really good! I also the crème brûlée cheesecake and I didn’t get to take a picture as I just devoured it entirely! Prices may be a bit steep for some, but I personally found it was fair as you are being served delicious food with generous portion. I’d like to give a shout out to Jeff who was our server for the night. He made sure we were well-attended and that we had everything we need. I’m excited to come back here for brunch! Great job to the rest of the staff and the kitchen.
