This place is amazing. They have been showing movies here since 1911. This theatre plays classics and always has the most amazing original posters. The popcorn is incredible and they even sell shirts that have the popcorn and drink mascots on them. I love watching classics here. I always look out for my favourites!
It was a nice cozy theatre. Smaller selection of films but the prices for everything is great. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to have a trip back in time without a time machine. It also has accessible seating for people who need it. The staff was friendly and very quick to accommodate. My hands were full and they quickly opened the door. Almost immediately after the movie was done they came quick to start cleaning up . The only downside is that sometimes tickets sell fast but it's worth the experience even if it's one time
We were there for My Bloody Valentine! It was an awesome experience. Nathan Boon did a Q/A with the cast and Director. It’s an evening we won’t forget.nThe theatre it’s self is such a wonderful place to see a movie. I love the fact that older movies play here like the killer tomatoes and mommy dearest. The price to see a movie is under $15. I recommend if your in the area stop by for a show! You won’t be disappointed.
Lovely place! Their film selection is excellent and the theatre in itself is cozy and comfy.
My favourite iconic theater in Toronto! Filled with extremely passionate film enthusiasts and very community oriented. Such a warm and lovely atmosphere, reminds me of why I love Toronto.
