Enjoyed it so much. We had our World Premiere of The Legend Of The Vagabond Queen Of Lagos. I'll say the experience seeing our film on the screen was just a delight.
Ventured to Scotiabank for the annual Canadian Film Festival. I haven’t been to a movie theatre in a long time, and it was quite the epic return to the cinema.nnI learned that my sitting tolerance in the theatres has greatly decreased. Which is weird, because I do tend to sit throughout my day. But maybe it’s the forced confines of a movie theatre seat, that has made me acutely aware of my limitations. I clearly can’t do the triple features like I used to in my youth.
Update 3: Alien RomulusnnStill 20 mins of ad. You're embetter off arriving 10 mins late.n------------------------------------nUpdate 2:nKong x Godzilla screening: 3:30 booking, movie started at 3:47. 15 mins of advertisement watching. Just show up 10 mins late and you won't miss a thing.nn-------------------------nnUpdate: I went for the Napoleon afternoon screening. I had to watch good 25 minutes of advertisement for a movie stated to start at 3 PM. I understand advertisement before the screening time but way past that is like watching unskippable YouTube advert. Super annoyingn-------------------------nGreat facility and massive screen. I went for Mission Impossible DR 1 and loved the action and surround system IMAX audio. Can't wait for Part 2.
The location is very convenient to get to by ttc.nParking is a bit challenging in this area.nThe location has limited accessible washrooms on the main level and you have to go up stairs to get to the other restrooms.nnThe theatre we went to had very uncomfortable seats. Feels like a rocking chair, and when someone in front of you sits back it hits your legs.nnThe snack options are typical, nothing special.nThe staff were friendly and helpful.
Amazing Dolby surround sound experience in this theatre.nnI was here for Doctor strange and it was fun since the plan was very spontaneous.nThe 3D glasses are crystal clear and they clean and decent.nnThey have amazing cafeteria and has popcorn coke and other meals available.nnThere is good leg space on the top row chairs and the experience of imax makes it even better.
