I went to two movies this past weekend, and had a great experience.nnI am usually someone who goes to theatres with recliners for maximum comfort, but I found the chairs in both theatres I was in 2 & 5 to be very comfortable.nnThe movie selection is also fantastic, and I liked the random little displays of movie memorabilia.nnCan't wait to return to Toronto so I can see something else!
I won’t be saying the obvious things but parking is bit problem as the nearest parking is properly integrated or put up signs to go to TIFF. Better go by streetcar.nnOnly cinema 1 is 700mm but that is small when I went to see a movie. But amazing sound quality. Tix price are high for a movie not on weekend.nnFeels more like a corporate office than a movie theatre. Crew is great and fountain drinks can be refilled but not popcorn.nnOverall a mixed bag
Cut down the trees on the street so they can take better pics of the actors on 2025. 8 months later no one has claimed responsibility and the poor trees got chopped for 5 mins of paparazzis and people taking pictures. Brutal!
I loved the Summer End Festival! The merch and food were both amazing, and the theater was way better this time
I watched Kantara 2, a South Indian film, at the TIFF location for the first time. The sound system and projection quality were outstanding—much better than what I've experienced at York Cinemas and Film.ca for similar movies. Ticket prices were reasonable, seating was comfortably decent, and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, a great experience.
