Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP

Fantastic location, good theatre but not many choices of movies. Totally different audience and lovely atmosphere

Arrived for our 12:30pm show at around 12:15pm. Realized that I had accidentally purchased tickets to a different Cineplex theatre way uptown. I asked a staff member if they could help me with my predicament. Within 3 minutes, they had refunded my tickets and allowed me to get new ones for the proper theatre. They were quick, considerate, and efficient. I was very impressed.

Bad experience, checked out their VIP theatre, bad 0 stars seats don't recline, my neck started paining because of how straight I had to sit to watch the movie, not at all comfortable. Their reglar theatre seats are comfortable but the seats are so near to each other that instead of the movie you can just see the heads of the people sitting in front of you. Just a suggestion don't waste your money on this theatre try going to another theatre. The one of Yonge and Dundas is much better and worth buying the tickets to. FYI the image below is taken from the very last row of the theatre.

Wonderful experience, great movie selections staff were super friendly and helpful especially Nicola. Definitely would recommend this theatre. The VIP section is awesome with the heated seats and bigger screen. Very enjoyable atmosphere.

Love this theatre, it’s civilized and handy. Tonight I forgot my phone in my seat and every single employee I encountered was helpful, happy and effective. I got my phone in a few minutes and I was so relieved. Thank you to the Sunday evening manager and team who were so nice!!
