Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP

Fantastic location, good theatre but not many choices of movies. Totally different audience and lovely atmosphere

Bad experience, checked out their VIP theatre, bad 0 stars seats don't recline, my neck started paining because of how straight I had to sit to watch the movie, not at all comfortable. Their reglar theatre seats are comfortable but the seats are so near to each other that instead of the movie you can just see the heads of the people sitting in front of you. Just a suggestion don't waste your money on this theatre try going to another theatre. The one of Yonge and Dundas is much better and worth buying the tickets to. FYI the image below is taken from the very last row of the theatre.

The VIP experience is completely fake!nnThe screen is small, the room doesn't have a good height so the heads of the people in front of you bother your image of the movie.nIt looks like you are in someone's house…nReally, it doesn't worth the price.nI'm never coming back!

This location is mobility accessible, however there are a couple theatres that have steps to get into the theatre. Just ask a staff member and they can assist you to bypass the stairs. The staff are very friendly and ready to assist. The location has a nice lounge area that serves alcohol and food as well. The lounge overlooks Bay Street. This is one of my favourite movie theatres that feels more personal and local.

I had an excellent experience while buying some snacks. I asked for a combo that included nachos, a hotdog and a beverage. They told me that the hotdogs were not going to be ready until the next 30 minutes. I didn’t want another combo, so they suggested they could bring it to me inside the theater the movie was about to start. They did. Shoutout to Isaac who took my order and Sebastian who gave me the hotdog, they should get a raise.
