Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP

Screen was not as glam as other vip options around, but you know what? We overcame adversity. How? Mostly because the chicken tenders were great and we had the pleasure of being served by Leslie, who was sweet and funny and a testament to the institution of cineplex. The movie we saw was great, the guy who scanned our ticket at the entrance was maybe in a coma, and the Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc was refreshing. #LeslieIsBae

Theater is fine overall but cinema 8 is terrible. The screen is so small, the room is so long, and the room isn't inclined enough. Don't bother going to cinema 8 unless you're near the front. If you're too close to the back then the screen will be so small and people's heads will be blocking it.

The vip experience is extremely lack lusture. Seats are kinda annoying and the screen is atrocious. Picture quality is dull. No contrast and not very bright either. They need to upgrade their system. My laptop has better picture quality.nService was decent.

You need take your parking ticket upstairs to Cineplex. Right after the ticket check in, there’s a small validation machine on the counter behind the staff member. Insert your ticket and it instantly updates with the discounted rate.

I wasn't really happy with the seating area. it's pretty small, and the seats aren't as comfortable. No recliner chair. For the price of VIP, I expected VIP seats and more leg room tray space for your snacsk & drinks. We sat at the isle seat, which means we would need to get up every time someone left their seat. And the screen was small. Otherwise, the move was good and had fun getting out, but I won't be going back to that's theater.nnWe ordered beef nacho! Lots of tomatoes, not so much beef. Had a nice drink call out of the office that was good, at least.nnTheater was clean, and the server was good.
