I love anything nostalgic. This venue is in little Italy and is known for many amazing events. It existed since 1939. You can get a drink or a bite and watch the show. The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Every seat is a great seat in the house and affordable. Shows sell out quickly so be swift with buying tickets and check the schedule.nI also happen to watch a Candlelight show. It was fantastic.
We had a wonderful evening at The Royal on October 5th to watch 'The Jury'. Highly recommend watching this play, the seating was comfortable and the price for tickets very reasonable.nnOverall, loved the experience! Excellent storyline with amazing actors and thought provoking case.
My 1st time to actually be inside and see a show at The Royal. It really needs that modern look however it's a venue worth coming to watch this absolutely powerful pure passion from the performers ~ the male & female flamenco dancers... the narrative soloist... the Spanish guitarist... the acoustic percussionist... worth every penny on the seat chosen ~ perfection!nAnd oh my goodness! The one hour show I was indeed MESMERIZED!!!nnThe concessions were utterly delightful with all the delicious selection of treats from popcorn, Italian baked cookies, tortas and many more. And the drinks, too. Everything was THE BEST!nnThe only drawback ~ the washrooms are on the 2nd or was it 3rd? Glad there was an alternative option not having to climb up those stairs... the Usher mentioned to go next door the Volo pub. Though their washrooms were quite small yet kept clean and perfect. THANK YOU
The Royal is a beautiful and cozy theater, where you can see great shows like stand-ups, concerts and more. With a perfect acoustic and comfortable seats. It is a historic gem in Toronto's little Italy built in 1939, what makes you feel that touch of old school charm.
An old original cinema converted to event space for rent. The renovation in the front lobby is an Italian themed, coffee and liquor bar with unique aperitifs, digestifs and beers imported from Italy. Some of the nicest selections that are not available at the LCBO.
